App Store :: Trying To Update App But Asking To Sign In To Another Unknown Account ID

Apr 24, 2012

I have the app store icon in my dock indicating that an app has an update. I click the app in the the update section and another window appears telling me I have updates for other accounts and that I need to sign into that accound to update applications for that account. The email address for that account is unknown to me. I am not aware of anyone having hacked my account, but it is in the back of my mind naturally that this has occurred. I have changed password on my account so far. I cannot delete the update from the app store even though I have deleted the iphone app from my itunes list.

Applications :: ITunes Store Sign In (Error - 9813)

Dec 26, 2009

when i attempt to sign in to iTunes, or create a new account (current ver (9.0.2) i get the following error message. We could not complete your iTunes Store request. A unknown error occurred (-9813). There was an error in the iTunes store, please try again later. I can sign in via my iPod over the same wifi connection and via my brother-in-law's Powerbook, why is my MBP refusing to sign in?

I've searched high and low for the error code -9813 and can find no documentation anywhere. It has been doing this since yesterday and the error fires as soon as it attempts to connect to the server however the store content (pre-login) all loads fine i.e. adverts etc within iTunes.

App Store :: Unable To Download(purchase) Lion Update From It?

Jun 18, 2012

When I try to download Lion, the download sign in window appears and is populated with someone else's Apple ID. If I change the ID to mine and use my password I get 2 messages: "We could not complete your request. There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (4)" Click OK and 2nd message: "Unknown Error"  iTunes does not exhibit this, and normal sign in to App Store shows correct ID, only the Download Authentication does this. I have been able to update other Apps just fine, this requires a purchase, and is the only difference.

App Store :: Mac Mini Won't Let To Update Apps - Get An Error 13 Message

Jun 22, 2012

The app store on my Mac Mini (2.7GHZ I7 running 10.7.4) tells me I have 3 apps that need to be updated. Whenever I try to update them, I get an error message that reads " We could not complete your request. There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (13). I've gone online and saw that some people were fixing the problem by erasing some kind of hidden cookie. It seems to be somwhere in /library/Cookies file but I don't have a file in my library labeled "cookies". I also saw another post where they tried to delete it in terminal, but that had no effect for me.

App Store :: Cannot Access Sign In Itunes Store After Lion Upgrade

May 25, 2012

Have just upgraded my macbook to Lion.  I logged into the app store, bought, downloaded and installed Lion no problem.

After upgrade I returned to the app store to download ibooks author.  I can find ibooks author but when I try and install the app I have to sign in and I get a "connection failed" error message.

The same happens in iTunes when I try and view my account - "The network connection failed"

I can access the internet with no problems - including secure sites. I can access software update with no problems.

I have made no changes to my network settings - could sign in and download apps before upgrade, unable to after upgrade.

App Store :: Make An App Store Purchase With A Different Credit Card?

Feb 1, 2012

I have a credit card for one of my companies that I used to buy the iPhone and create an Apple ID for purchases on the app store. Subsequent to that I created a new company, with its own credit card, and created a new Apple ID specifically for purchases for that company. Now when I go to make a purchase on the app store with my iPhone how do I switch between the two Apple IDs so that the purchase I make uses the appropriate credit card?

App Store :: Moving Purchase From One Store To Another

May 17, 2012

I have some apps that I bought sometimes ago when I'm still living in newzealand. Now I moved to other country permernantly. Therefore, I have to change newzealand mac app store to us mac app store(Apple forces me, because my new credit card is us base).

Problem is, I have to switch back to newzealand store everytime I needed to install something, then switch back to US store to install some other thing. that's annoying.

Now, I can rebuy the apps that I've already have for my US store, but that's hideus, why should I pay twice for the same thing ? Is that the best if Apple let me transfer the apps ? what big deal about it ? beside's the country flag the apps are rather look and cost the same, why don't let me do it?

App Store :: Can't Purchase Anything In It

Feb 2, 2012

I am trying to make a purchase from the App Store in Snow Leopard 10.6.8, but can't make any purchases. When I try to purchase, I get the message, "Additional security information is needed. To use this Apple ID you must first login to the my info web page then provide additional security information." But when I click on Update Security Info, it brings me to a page at [URL] but the page will not load, and it says that Safari can't establish a secure connection to the server. I have also tried it in Firefox and it does not work there either. I went to the Apple Store online, and updated my account info with the proper credit card and information, but it has not helped. What is going on here. This is for my bosses account and not my account, and we need to purchase some software for this machine, but are completely unable.
