Is it possible to transfer an app for my account to my wife's account so she can use it on her phone. Tom Tom is the App and as I don't use it anymore it seems silly to have it and for it not to be used.

Every time I put itunes music files into my shared folder from the administrator's account then try to drop it into my itunes library on my other account, it says I do not have write access and should check my music folders. Well, I gave every music folder and itunes write access privileges, but I still get the same message when I try to transfer the music.

my iTunes store is registered under an old email address and I wanted to change this address to my MobileMe address.iTunes would not let me change the address to an existing MobileMe account, but I was successful in creating my .me account seperately. Ok.
Now my problem/question: I no longer wish to use my old @rogers account and only want to use my @me. iTunes will not recognize my previous purchases made from the @rogers when logged in using my new @me. I tried using the migration assistant to transfer files (mainly pictures and word documents) from my old windows xp machine to my new macbook pro after the initial account setup, but I cannot find them. I know they are on the computer because of the decrease in free hard drive space. I had read on the internet that it may have created another user account and put the files there, but when I check in the users and groups, the only other account it shows is the guest, which I had had disabled. I would like to find out where the files are, and how I may be able to get them.

I am a new mac user (total convert--am on my second iMac in a month and am about to buy a macbook), and am having trouble with my itunes service. My first 24" iMac developed a clicking HDD, so I was lucky enough to be able to bring it back to the shop for a replacement iMac. I made a time machine backup of the first Mac and copied directly to the second one (which was flawless....how come I haven't been using macs prior to now? I've lost dozens of backups on PC). The only issue I've had is with iTunes--I keep getting an error that the iTunes library is newer than the version of iTunes on the computer. Is there anyway to fix this without losing my entire library of songs? I did make up a physical copy of the iTunes folder on my first Mac, just in case, so I assume that I could delete iTunes and reinstall a fresh copy, update it, and then copy the iTunes folder over to the new version. But this is a Windows approach to the issue and there is probably a simpler way of fixing this. Alternately, I could do the same but sync my iPod and copy everything to my library that way.
