Mar 15, 2010Ive recently downloaded a trail for the download accelerator DAP (Download Accelerator Plus) to speed up the download of a world of warcraft patch. Unfortunately, I had to delete this program when I realized that this was causing my computer to overheat due to pushing my computer's abilities through the roof. My computer has not been damaged in anyway, and i have "deleted" the program but when i still continue to try to download something it says that "DAP Plugin cannot find Download accelerator plus"; even thuogh i just deleted everything. so then i try to delete the plugin, but my mac says that "this item cannot be deleted when it is in use" but it really is not.
Can any of you help me to try to delete this plugin so i can start downloading again. After several attempts and techniques I STILL am not able to download anythinh

Intel Mac :: Why Did Lion Download Updates That Didn't Select
Apr 7, 2012A couple of days ago I checked for updates for my Lion - I was in particular looking for the Java update to fix the recently reported security issue - and selected 2 items including the Java update for downloading. I checked the size of the items and they added up to be less than 200MB in total. But as soon as the downloading started, the total size suddenly became 1.4G!!! There was no obvious way for me to check exactly what I was downloading and de-select any unwanted updates. I didn't want to stop the downloading because I did want to make sure I have the Java update.

Apr 10, 2012I resent that Appple forces us to pay for and download Lion in order to switch to iCloud, a system that has many users furious. After downloading Lion, my personal cd archives from iTunes vanished, and several of my friends, on switching to iCloud, lost their mail contacts. YES - they followed the complicated instructions from Apple as to how to save everything, but so much fell apart. I had a chat with an Apple person and even she was mystified. I was going to buy an iPad but now I won't as just having an iMac is enough with so much difficult stuff going on.

Jul 29, 2009some time ago, I accidently deleted firefox off my desktop and have been unable to download it from the net since.It is an older ibook G4 I have,maybe this has something to do with it?But I did have firefox before so surely this is not the reason.What happenned first was I would download it,put into applications and drag below which seemed to work fine, until I clicked on it and it dissappeared?Could'nt figure it out..?
So I kept trying and trying and the same thing..Now when I go to download it,It saves as dmg?but fails to open saying it (failed to mount)?It doesn't even have the firefox symbol?

I have got a iPhone 3g which requires iTunes 10.1 or greater to be able to sync. I cannot d/l the latest iTunes as it requires OS 10.5 and my system will only support up to OS 10.4.11.
