Is it possible that when you delete emails from mac mail to have them automatically deleted from your windows live account server as well? If you understand what I mean?

When I sync iTunes to my iPhone 4, under the Info tab it says "No supported application can be found" for the Calendar and Mail sections even though I have Windows Live Mail and it has a calendar in it.

View 24 Replies View RelatedI have been having problems with windows Live ever since I upgraded to OSX snow leopard.
I can sign in and then after 1 minute it signs itself out and says the connection has been lost.
I have tried re-installing it again and the same problem keeps happening
any suggestions?
I have downloaded about 3 different instant messengers:
- Mercury Messenger
- aMSN
- Microsoft Messenger (newest version)
These all claim to have the ability of video chat and using the webcam, however, none so far have done so and every time I have tried it has failed or cancelled and can't connect.
I would like to know if I'm doing something wrong, I have gone through all the preferences and sorted everything that I think is right.
I'm running low on hard-drive space on my Macbook Pro and have decided that my Apple Mail e-mail archive can go and I can just check my Gmail on-line.
My question is, where can I find my messages so that I can clear up all that space?
Is there a way to delete selected attachments from Mac Mail without deleting ALL of them? I often want to keep the image files of an email, but delete documents. The only thing I can find is the Remove Attachments menu command, which removes everything.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have on my hard drive a Leopard partition and a Windows 7 partition. I am looking to delete the Windows partition and then have the full hard drive as one Leopard partition, hopefully without any reformatting. Firstly when I installed the Windows partition I did so through bootcamp. I also have parallels 4.0 and so I was able to set up a virtual machine (VM) of this bootcamp partition. I want to now completely get rid of windows on my machine though I am not sure of the best way to do so. I guess working backwards is best: delete the parallels VM then delete the bootcamp partition? Is this the best way to do it? Will the deleted space on my hard drive be converted to space on my Leopard partition?
(I wish to get rid of windows because I am having problems with my mac sleeping. I just want to see if windows is the culprit. Hopefully it is as I have tried everything else including an SMC reset, short of reformatting and installing.) I have backups of everything btw.
I've having trouble getting the "webcam" option on "live messenger" on my MAC. There is no option for starting a conversation with a cam and when people request a cam conversation it suggests that i get "window live v7" I've already got this. Do I need a separate webcam instead of the built-in one i have on my laptop?

first of all, my isight is actually working and i am using BC1.4b and windows XP SP2.
the problem is the iSight on messenger is zoomed in very close but when i just open the isight in My Computer its normal. anyone knows why??
and it is also not possible adjust the zoom and other configurations for the camera.

I was able to get into hotmail earlier today. Later, when I tried to log in to hotmail later, it wouldn't work. With my main account, it doesn't do anything except just go back to the screen to enter my password. When I try my other account, it gets to a screen that says I don't have a windows live inbox (wtf). It doesn't appear isolated to my computer, as I tried my roommates computer, and his computer just kind did nothing but go to a blank screen when I enter my password.

I have two emails--one from June 2010 and one from yesterday that for some unknown reason my mail program will not delete. Both are marked as "junk," but I cannot move or delete them. One is in my main address, the other in the junk folder.
When I try to delete them the color of the typeface changes from the light brown (designated as the junk mail color) to gray/black of the normal mail, but they will not move to the trash. I have tried repeatedly to get them out of their boxes, but am completely stumped. Can you help?

I applied the rules but now I want to get rid of it, I tried deleting the rules through the mail preferences but the messages in my inbox still display with the rules still applied to them. Deleting the rules through the mail preferences didn't change anything in the inbox. Is there another way to do this?

I also have an ususual situation in that I am an adult webmaster. I often get emails with words (not four letter words, but, for example, the word "spanking") in the subject line.These emails can be from peole who are in my address book. I also will get mail from friends who are writing me from their own websites, for example [URL]I have tested this from a gmail account. An email will come into my mac.com account. I can see it up on the server. Within minutes, my mail program on my home machine checks for new mail. Not only does the "offending" email not download, but it is then DELETED from I have checked every setting in Mail, and cannot see anything that would be causing this. I have turned off junk mail filtering completely, for example. The only conclusion I can come to is that my ISP had decided for me that I don't want the mail, and is not only preventing me from receiving it on my computer (bad enough), but is telling mac.com to delete it.
I am extremely frustrated by this. I fear confronting my isp because to do so I would need to admit that I am running adult websites from my home, something that no doubt is against the TOS (though of course they are not hosted at my house.) I don't want to be forced to use web based mail exclusively . I like Mail and want to continue using it, but I am not getting mail from my writers and contributors, and not getting customer services queries.
Does anyone know any apps out there that can stream live video and audio to the internet so that visitors to my website can see what my webcam is broadcasting?
