My ringtones which were purchased thru iTunes Store have disappeared even after doing the iOS 8.1.2 update, how do I get them back

Sync'd my iPhone with iTunes on my mac and lost all imported ringtones. I go to reset the alarm ringtone for example and cannot find any of my imported ringtones. My default imported ringtone for the phone still shows, but if I go to edit it, none of my imported ringtones show up as options. This has happened since the last s/w update for my iPhone (didn't happen before)...

I have upgraded my iphone. I have successfully brought in all of my previous music and video downloaded from the cloud as well as contacts etc.; however, I am unable to do the same with my ringtones. I have tried searching under 'purchased" and nothing shows up. I have even tried from my itunes on my computer and still nothing.

i've got an iPhone 4 and a Mac with iTunes, and recently i encountered my first problem while re-importing music. first of all, when i add new albums to importing list, iTunes starts importing them immidiately and skips the songs i've already added (which means, i end up with having only the first song from every album on my iPhone).the other problem is, when i've patiently imported some music album by album, it turned out that none of the songs had cover images!

I think I know why: I deleted the MP3s from my hard disc but not from my iTunes Library. I don't want all the hassle of figuring out which songs I deleted and deleting them from my iTunes Library, I just want them to disappear from the iPhone/iPod and free up the space.
I am thinking of deleting ALL the songs on my iPhone/iPod and then syncing it again. Is there an easier way?

The problem is I don't have the ability to create a aac version of the mp3. I have the song at 29 seconds. When I highlight the song and right-click, I don't see "create aac version". I have an iMac that is my main computer. I download all of my music from iTunes on that computer and update my iPhone through that computer. I also have a MacBook that I use while traveling. Is it possible to sync the iPhone to the MacBook and update the MacBook with whatever is on the iPhone (and not update the iPhone with what is on the MacBook)? The MacBook is not updated (iTunes wise) and I don't want to erase what is on my iPhone. However if I could do the reverse of this then that would be better, that way I can download songs to my iPhone as well as my iPod to update for my vehicle. If this isn't possible, is there any way to somehow get what music is on the iPhone to my iPod so I can play it in my vehicle?

I have created ringtones using i tunes. I had no problem creating them, they play well and appear under music in iTunes. One thing that I am unable to solve, is that i can't move the ringtone from music to ringtone tab on the right. I tried dragging it, didn't work. I receive this error every time I tell iTunes to download the updates to my iPhone apps. Funny thing is, I only get the error once, if I click Update All again it goes through without a problem.
