Intel Mac :: ITunes Doesn't Update IPhone Nor IPad

i don't know what i did in Terminal a few weeks ago and now i'm having problems. I firts noticed this when trying to update my ipad and iphone to ios5.1 itunes kept showing the message "connecting to the iphone software actualisation server" but it stayed this way for hours. I think i touched something in Terminal i didn't had to.Can anyone tell me how to reput iTunes in to its default settings using Terminal?

ITunes :: IPhone 4s And IPad Unable To Update To 5.1 On Device And Through It?

Getting errors when trying to update to 5.1 on iPhone 4s and iPad 1. Iv tried to update through the device and on iTunes and its not working. Both devices are NOT jailbroken. iTunes saying network connection can not be established. And trying through iPad's software update on the device says " Unable to check for update. An error occurred while checking for a software update." And I clearly have internet connection.

ITunes :: ITunes Now Dies When Attempting To Sync IPhone Or IPad?

I've been syncing my devices for years, but after I updated to iTunes 10.6 then attempted to sync my iPhone 4, iTunes aborts and does not complete the sync. I tried my iPad as well with exactly the same results. So, I expect that something has begun corrupted in iTunes and I tried to revert to the previous version of iTunes with Time machine, but the Mac reported that I cannot remove iTunes.It could be a library that is corrupt or a cache of some sort, but I can't tell.

ITunes :: Synching IPhone 4 / IPad 2 On Mac

I download apps DIRECTLY to my iPhone and iPad 2 I do not download via iTunes.

When I plug in my iPad or phone (device from now on) and sync it in iTunes, it transfers and backups MY purchases fine. However the left window pane does not show the INSTALLED apps.

Theres only a list of apps, none with check marks , even if they are present on the phone or iPad. If select sync apps, it tells me it will DELETE all the apps on my device.

Am I doing something wrong, or is there a way to make iTunes place a check mark or recognize what IS ALREADY on my device with out having to start from scratch and delete all my apps by forcing me To manually select what apps I want installed on my device (which are already on my device!) Am I missing a step someplace? Shouldn't my library on my device show up on the left side of ITunes pane with apps INSTALLED already checked?

ITunes :: Remove App From IPhone, But Not IPad?

I have an App that I would like to keep in my iTunes library, but only Sync to my iPad -- not my iPhone. Right now, the App has been 'deselected' from my iPhone, but the associated file size did not decrease. My iPhone still has 1GB more than I would like. How can I remove the App and it's file from my iPhone, but preserve it on my iPad?
