I guess this is a bit trivial, but I want to change the display at the bottom of my iTunes screen. The part that tells you how many albums you have, the total playing time, and size. Currently, this is displayed with the European system of using commas instead of points as the decimal separators. I may be crazy, but I'm pretty sure it used to have points and then a few days ago, it switched on me. I noticed it after I installed an update. Is there a way of changing it back?
View 6 Replies View RelatedEvery since I upgraded to SL, I'm now getting a scroll bar along the bottom of the page. Usually this would only happen if the text or picture is too wide for the page. But it's showing up on ebay and ESPN and other site where the content clearly fits on the page. That would be OK but it will shift position automatically and off-center the page and won't let me move it back
View 5 Replies View RelatedLion: there are sliders that allow us to scroll up and down a list in a column. the little arrows that were at the top or bottom of the scrolls ( in panther) that allowed slower, incremental, scrolling through lists are gone. Are they hidden or really gone? Also My itunes window is too long and I can't reach the bottom right corner to resize the window. what is the hidden trick to decrease the length of the window. Quitting and restarting hasn't done it...?
View 3 Replies View RelatedThat is, if I'm reading an article, and I put the cursor at the bottom of the scroll bar, and click once, Firefox will scroll two or three sections sometimes. This is very annoying, and didn't happen in Firefox 2.0. To clarify, I'm reading, and I click once, and want the page to jump down one section, and instead it jumps two or three. I've experimented with autoscrolling on/off, and this doesn't help the problem. Should I switch back to Firefox 2.0? One solution is to position the cursor barely below where I want to go, so Firefox can't jump ahead, but I find this annoying and would just as soon switch back to 2.0.

Upgraded to Office 2011 from 2008, when I open existing spreadsheet on MacBook the bottom of the page extends below the dock so I cannot access resize corner. I can maximize to get access to resize but am looking for fix so that when a sheet is opened the page does not fall below dock. Even happens on new default spreadsheet.

I am missing scroll bar in ITune Store. I have MacBookPro which I purchased in jan-2012. and my Itune is also up to date.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo if I sort my files in a list in iTunes and I scroll through the album list, it ALWAYS crashes. It doesn't happen if I click and drag the scroll bar, but if I do the two-finger scroll on my trackpad or if I scroll with my magic mouse, iTunes automatically crashes.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter this 10.6 update I haven't been able to click in the scroll bars in iTunes to jump positions in the window. I have to use the arrows or trackpad/mouse scrolling. It's a small thing, but I have a lot of playlists and it's really annoying. I haven't had this problem with any other software. I'm running OS 10.6.8 on a Macbook Pro.

Songs with long titles that belong to the same album are ordered side by side at a fixed width. I cannot view the song title without watching it scroll at the top. Or a way to "correct" this? I have many classical pieces that have long descriptive titles. Takes forever for the marquee to scroll!

In the past, on Itunes 11.0, when I opened the program, there would be a bar on top that would read, "File, Edit, View, Controls, Store, Help" and below , a status bar that would tell me the number of tracks in a playlist and duration, "7 Songs, 28:20 Total Time, 51 MB"..Those controls/status bars are gone in the new 11.4 edition of iTunes. Â

iTunes is huge, and when I try to resize it (Bottom right 'button'), the Dock shows up. I tried to hide the dock, move it to the left/right, and iTunes is still lower than that area. So, ultimately is there a way I can resize iTunes without clicking on the bottom right?
View 3 Replies View RelatedTypically in Itunes when "music" is clicked at the bottom of the songs window there is an autofill option. I no longer see that option. Where did it go? I want to change what playlist my Itouch syncs with and I can't without having access to the autofill feature.

I'm using a wireless Mighty Mouse with a Mac Mini (the newest model) and am running 10.6.3.
The scroll wheel can scroll up just fine, but scrolling down, it literally only scrolls down a fraction of a pixel (if that's even possible) per finger flickr/scroll.
I opened the Mouse panel from System Preferences and adjusted the Scroll setting, but no luck.
Is there any way to get back the status bar at the bottom that told you how many songs were in a playlist, how long the play-time was, etc.?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI just got a new Macbook Pro with a 15" screen. When I moved files from my 27" iMac the iTunes window is so large that I cannot see the bottom third of the window on the 15" screen. And I cannot access the lower right-hand corner so that I can resize the screen to fit the 15" window. Therefore I cannot see about a third of the music currently in iTunes. If I encounter the same problem with other applications or files, is there a solution that works for all occurrences?

Whenever I click on the "Album" column header, I'm sent to the bottom of the column. For instance, when I want to change the playing order I will alternate between the "Artist" and "Album" columns. When I click on other column headers, I don't get this problem.Â
While this isn't a life-altering issue, I find it super annoying.Â
Is there something I can do to stop this from happening? Or is this a glitch?Â
What option am I missing or do I need to display?Â

Suddenly I can't scroll down using my aqua scroll bar. I can scroll up just fine. This is true whether I'm in Firefox, Safari, or any sort of document-making applications. System preferences is set to 'scroll horizontally and vertically.' It's not the end of the world, but it's klunky and annoying. Could someone please remind me of something very obvious that I'm obviously doing wrong?

Only thing I can do is toggle back to a screen where I can access the top bar (the one with the black apple on the left - not know its name) and then go into Force Quit.Â
