ITunes keeps giving me the message "account disabled for security reasons". Each time I have to verify the account - any idea why this keeps happening - even changed my password but it still happens - I am the only one using this account - it is happening most with app updates -

How do I change my appleID security questions?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I tried to log into iCloud I got a message that for security reasons I needed to reset may pass word. I have tried to do that 3 different times. Each time I get this email:The password for your Apple ID has been successfully reset. If you didn’t make this change or if you believe an unauthorized person has accessed your account, go to iforgot.apple.com to reset your password immediately. Then sign in to My Apple ID to review and update your security settings.
However, when I try to login to iCloud I keep getting the same message that the password has been disabled. I can not figure what is going on as I was able to login to this forum with the new password.

This has happened over the past few days. I've attempted to make new purchases both in the App Store and on iTunes. I'm queried for my Apple ID, then I'm asked to enter three new security questions and answers. When I complete this step, I receive a message that the App Store (or iTunes, depending on where I am) is "temporarily unable to process" my request and to try later. I've even reset my Apple ID password, logged out, logged back in, and attempted a purchase, but to no avail. I've run into the same problem attempting to purchase new apps on my iPhone and iPad as well. Updates to previously-purchased apps work, but not new purchases.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently got a letter from apple that my apple ID birthdate/security questions & answers had been changed. I think this was because of a previous letter that told me I had to update my account with the new security features, but I don't recall.
Anyway, I decided to check on the appleID site, got logged in, changed my password successfully, but I couldn't see how to change the security questions or answers - and the answers I did try submitting weren't accepted.
So now I'm stuck: my account is OK, my password is OK, but I can't remember the security answers and can't see how to change them.

Was updating some iOS apps, when the App Store (assuming it was the app store), requested my password a second time, and then proceeded to request security questions and answers..It looked like pushing, and since I'd not heard of Apple instituting this procedure I elected not to input the information.Feedback submitted to Apple on this..

I was just chatting with a friend on iChat and my keyboard and trackpad became completely unresponsive. I had sent a message to him, then went to reply to his response and there was just nothing there as far as input was concerned, both were completely unresponsive.
The only other running apps at the time were Mail.app and FontExplorer X Pro (which is always open for me, much like finder). Anyone have any notions why something like this would happen. In 6 years of Mac portable use (powerbooks and Macbook Pros), I've never had this happen to me. I had to hold the power button for 5 seconds to shut the computer down.
So I don't mean to start a thread that already is out there, but I've looked around and haven't found anything answering my question. Which is basically, why would you get a matte over glossy? Is it entirely because of the glare? Or are there other reasons to get matte. Also, is it sometimes just a preference? Neither one is actually "better" right?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased a PowerBook G4 it had 512mb ddr2 ram as standard so I went out and bought a 2gb stick for it. After removing the 512mb stick and installing the 2gb stick it worked fine, and then it started to crash without anything being done, so initially I borrowed a known to be working stick of the ram and put that in and the errors keep coming up? Even with the original stick it seems to be crashing for no apparent reason. Before I installed the new stick it was working fine the the 512mb stick, but she still does it with the original stick.
View 4 Replies View RelatedFor some reason unknown to me, my "private" folder is visible. I've done all the "usual" things and even have an Automator action that shows and hides invisible files, but I just can't make it invisible again. Now this isn't really a BAD thing as I know how to poke around in there, but still... it's a mystery to me.
View 3 Replies View RelatedYesterday, I had to re-format my external hard drive so that it could be "recordable" within Pro Tools, which wasn't a major issue, I just had to move everything from my Lacie drive to another drive, do the format, and then throw it all back on. It took a little while but this also included moving my nearly 60gb itunes library. Now that it is on the newly formatted hard drive, itunes doesn't seem to be able to find the majority of the songs any more. I've tried changing the music folder and a few other things, and there is no way I'm going through and doing the "cant find music - click here to find it" palava. Is anyone aware of a way that you can "mass find" all of the music in any way other than starting the library again and adding all the music (I don't really want to lose all of my play counts and ratings if possible!)
