I want to buy something on the APP Store but the store ask me the security questions. I just cannot remember the correct answers. Is there any way I can reset them?

I recently got a letter from apple that my apple ID birthdate/security questions & answers had been changed. I think this was because of a previous letter that told me I had to update my account with the new security features, but I don't recall.
Anyway, I decided to check on the appleID site, got logged in, changed my password successfully, but I couldn't see how to change the security questions or answers - and the answers I did try submitting weren't accepted.
So now I'm stuck: my account is OK, my password is OK, but I can't remember the security answers and can't see how to change them.

This has happened over the past few days. I've attempted to make new purchases both in the App Store and on iTunes. I'm queried for my Apple ID, then I'm asked to enter three new security questions and answers. When I complete this step, I receive a message that the App Store (or iTunes, depending on where I am) is "temporarily unable to process" my request and to try later. I've even reset my Apple ID password, logged out, logged back in, and attempted a purchase, but to no avail. I've run into the same problem attempting to purchase new apps on my iPhone and iPad as well. Updates to previously-purchased apps work, but not new purchases.

View 1 Replies View Relatedive been having this problem for over a week now and i cant seem to find an answer on how to fix it.i recently downloaded a file which had some vsts in it(demo's)i installed them but ever since then i cant get past the initial desktop screen on my macbook pro.(you know just before your icons pop up on the desktop screen)
i keep getting the spinning wheel.
now ive tried every command under the sun to rectify this but its not working.its been suggested to me that i should boot from my install disk but after moving countries i lost it.i did happen to get a mac osx disk from a friend of mine but this only lets me get into a sreen where i can perform actions in disk utility and a few other irrelevant actions.i know what file has done this and i just want to be able to get into my harddrive and delete it.i was also under the impression that if i had a copy of osx i could boot from it.this to me meant that i could use my computer normally but bypass the internal startup but maybe im wrong in assuming that.
im at my wits end and very close to bringing it into a shop where ill more than likely be charged to have them do something i feel might be a simple fix.
I have installed an IP-printer on my Mac. To print something from this printer, I have to use an username and password. I wrote in what I thought was my username and password, and selected that my Mac should remember this.
Unfortunately I wrote the wrong username, and now, even though I've deleted the printer several times and added it again, I still can't print anything. The box that I wrote my username and password do not pop up.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there any way to make Image Capture forget a device? It must have a cache since it remebers the folder where I save the photos. I want to make it forget my iPhone (4) because it keeps deleting everything I import regardless if I uncheck the box or not. What's weird is it works fine with all our other iDevices (4S, 3, iPad, all latest iOS) and card readers, so it must be something it remebers about my phone.
It do not see anything like this in the menu. Here is the Image Capture stuff in ~/Library just in case someone can point me to the culprit.

I originally logged in at the free and slow level, entering my room number and last name to confirm. Then I found out that by joining the hotel's loyalty program I can get the fastest speed for free, but I can't get back to the login screen. I've gone into Network Prefs > Wifi Network > Advanced, to delete the network name off the list, but even after a restart, my MBP just logs right in at the slow level.
I've deleted all networks from the list and saved it, yet it just logs right back into the slow level. I looked all over Keychain and don't see anything relating to this network anywhere. Everything I try, my computer just keeps logging back into the slow level. The hotel has even deleted my login on their end, and somehow I just get right back into the slow level without entering my room number again. Where is this password and network info stored so I can delete it?

If I change a folder name, while iTunes is working it's okay, it keeps playing the file just fine, but when I close iTunes and re-open it, it forgets the file path and make me find the path manually, then appears to be all right, but why it forgets the path when I close it?
I mean, even if I change the folder name (path) of the song that is actually playing, nothing happens and keep playing all the songs just fine, but if I close forgets all changes...
on [url]... the boxes stay blank when I type. I tried downloading a chrome and firefox as a different browser from safari but it doesn't let me as my Mac is too old. I am currently having to copy and paste into the text boxes.
