App Store :: How To Change AppleID Security Questions And Answers
May 17, 2012
I recently got a letter from apple that my apple ID birthdate/security questions & answers had been changed. I think this was because of a previous letter that told me I had to update my account with the new security features, but I don't recall.Â
Anyway, I decided to check on the appleID site, got logged in, changed my password successfully, but I couldn't see how to change the security questions or answers - and the answers I did try submitting weren't accepted.Â
So now I'm stuck: my account is OK, my password is OK, but I can't remember the security answers and can't see how to change them.Â
Was updating some iOS apps, when the App Store (assuming it was the app store), requested my password a second time, and then proceeded to request security questions and answers..It looked like pushing, and since I'd not heard of Apple instituting this procedure I elected not to input the information.Feedback submitted to Apple on this..

I want to buy something on the APP Store but the store ask me the security questions. I just cannot remember the correct answers. Is there any way I can reset them?
I forgot my answers to my verification questions and I want to buy songs from Itunes but it won't let me because i didn't answer the questions...How do I reset the questions and answers or at least change them?
I've bought apps before but now I get a list of security questions, some I have no answer for, and I'm not allowed to use my email address because it's already in use. Why?
This has happened over the past few days. I've attempted to make new purchases both in the App Store and on iTunes. I'm queried for my Apple ID, then I'm asked to enter three new security questions and answers. When I complete this step, I receive a message that the App Store (or iTunes, depending on where I am) is "temporarily unable to process" my request and to try later. I've even reset my Apple ID password, logged out, logged back in, and attempted a purchase, but to no avail. I've run into the same problem attempting to purchase new apps on my iPhone and iPad as well. Updates to previously-purchased apps work, but not new purchases.Â
I have tring to buy stuff on itunes and they have been asking to answer sercurity questions. I dont remember what I put down for my answer is there a way I can change my answers?
I have had an iTunes account now for about 4 years and now all of a sudden when trying to download an app on my itiuch it is asking me to set up 3 security questions and a backup email? Is there a change in Apple Security or something?

I've created a new apple id on my iphone, inserted all the details (including credit card details) but I haven't received a confirmation email yet. When i try to login with the new apple id I get the message that there is no apple id with this email. How long does it take for the confirmation email to come?Â
If i entered the wrong email by mistake (even though i double checked)? If someone can login by mistake then he will have access on my credit card as well.Â
I can't buy apps! It says my Visa security code is wrong but its not! Ive been buying apps with that same card for years now. I even tried with another card and it gave the same problem.
The app store/itunes won't let me download any apps because it tells me I have an invalid credit card security code. The security code is valid and my address and everything is correct.
I am trying to reset security question and answer for my Apple Account. I can authenticate with my own appId/password but I am stuck with resetting my security question/answer. I forgot my original security question/answer. How do I reset them?Â
I have recently begun to use a fios router for my home network. When originally set up by fios they set the security to wep, and I set my network prefences as such. Since then I have changed the router to wpa security My network prefences still shows that wep encryption is being used. It still connects to the net but I can't figure out how to change it to reflect wpa security. Or since I am connecting to the net , is it necessary.
Im trying to change apps that control my computer but I can no longer get access to privacy settings in "security & privacy."Â Â I couldnt remember my old appleID password so just changed which means I cant update the login password in the general settings either.Â
