My macbook pro has been stolen. I havent installed any software that enables me to remotely access my webcam.
Is there anything i can do? I have been tracking it on "find my iphone".

I have a MacBook Pro and I'm wondering what I can do to secure the data the best I can in case it's stolen. When I had a Windows Laptop I had a password to log on. I know someone could still get into it without too much trouble with a reinstall of Windows, going through DOS, etc.
My question, what is the best way to do this on a Mac? I set up a logon password so when my screen saver comes up in a minute of no use it requires a password to get back in. Yet all someone has to do is a restart and for some reason it goes straight into OS X without asking for a password. Is there a way to change this?
Is it possible for me to somehow encrypt my data to somehow further protect it? Of course I don't want to do anything that will slow my system down.

I have fully upgraded Macbook, iMac & iPhone. I cannot activate my account because I have received none of the "verification emails" from Apple. My email address has not been verified despite Apple IDPassword working otherwise. Some documents eventually show up in my iCloud Drive, but I'm never able to create new ones or download new ones created e.g. on the web or on my iphone. I disabled iCloud Drive for now, and whenever I try to re-enable it I get the following erorr in the Console:cloudd: SQL error: 'DELETE FROM CSChunkTable WHERE ct_iid = 596', (11) database disk image is malformed
which is repeated for 100s of ids. iCloud Drive works on a guest account and on other devices. I already tried signing out of iCloud on this Computer, but without success.
Is there any way to "repair" this malformed database disk image?
I have provided a wrong email address in setting up my iCloud account. Hence, I have not been able to verify my account and use iCloud. What should I do next ?

I am trying to get all my devices working together on the cloud and syncing when plugged to eachother. I schedule a meeting in iCal and it doesn't go over to the other devices. The loss of MobileMe Galleries is a HUGE loss to Apple's most loyal consumers and I would think a HUGE loss of revenue to Apple.Â
I certainly hope that the news of Photo Journals for IOS devices will also soon allow us to store, edit and save our photos not only on IOS devices, but also on our laptops, MacAirs and desktops.Â
Most of us that have been using iPhoto for the past 5 (ish) years, prefer to edit and store them on our laptops and desktops.Â
