What version Safari should I be using with 10.5.8? I've got version 5.0.6 and was told by Ad Block I needed a newer version.That was right after I updated Ad Block for Safari and lost 75% of my home page.That is, it no longer appears after updating.

I'm having issues with some sites so wish to try another version of Safari to see if that will help. I downloaded versions 5.0.2 (just for safety if I had to return to it), 5.0.3 and 5.1.1, all of which said they were compatible with Snow Leopard. When I attempt to install 5.0.3 it says it cannot install as it needs OS version 10.6.5 When I attempt to install 5.1.1 it says it cannot install as it needs OS version 10.6.7 Even when I attempt to install 5.0.2 it says it cannot install as it needs OS version 10.6.4 What Gives? Is there a version of Safari out there that will install onto OS 10.6.6? Is there a version of Safari out there that will install onto OS 10.6.6?

Every time I open Safari (5.0.6) on Mac OS X (Version 10.5.8) it crashes. It crashes 30 seconds after I open the application. So I open Safari, I see my homepage than roughly around 30 seconds later it crashes. I have already uninstall every third plug-ins such as adobe flash player, but still the same.

i have a G4, serial number qt21106cl3v. i just installed os x 10.2.3. i cant get on fb or any site that uses flash. it says for me to download shockwave. ive tried and it wont install. i tried to download a new browser, like firefox, or another version of safari and i have no luck.
i cant decide whether its a virus or what. i just got the computer from a yard sale and its in excellent condition. i had to reinstall os x though cuz it had no os. any ideas?? you can find additional info by searching for specs through the serial. i have no prior knowledge of macs and am trying to learn quickly.
also, as in the heading, safari keeps crashing when i try to download any kind of new browser, and the auto updates arent working either.

I tried to launch Safari (version 4.1.2) but it wouldn't open. It just bounced once from the dock and that was it.
