I am running Safari 5.1.5 on a recent macbook air.
I have a web-site and when I change it safari on the macbook will continue to show an old version of the site. (the site is updated, as safari on my ipad does show the recent version).
I have refreshed; no change I have emptied the cache; no change I have reset safari; no change.

I recently got a mac with the version 10.4 on it. I want to use the itunes store but it says that it requires the safari 4.0.3 or higher version on it. But when I try to download this version it says it requires mac 10.5 in order to run. Is there a version of Safari 4.0.3 for mac 10.4?

I had Safari 4 dev preview installed then i removed it after installing 10.5.4 because i needed some plugins that wasn't working, the problem is that when i uninstalled it using the uninstaller in the dmg i got Safari 3.1.1 no problem i thought... But i was wrong.I wanted the latest version of Safari 3.1.2 so i went to software update in os x didn't find it so then i went to Apple's Safari site and downloaded the latest safari image they had when i was going to install it on my MacBook i can't because the system says i don't have 10.5.2 which is required but i have 10.5.4!! So i then uninstalled Safari 3.1.1 thinking that i then could install 3.1.2 but no now i can't install Safari

I have the developers iOS 6 Beta on my iPhone 4s. I need the latest iTunes 10.6.3 to sync with iTunes. I went to www.itunes.com as it told me to and I went to the downloads page. Usually you enter your email and click the download button. My problem is there is is no download button or email box! I need to download the latest iTunes and I can't. I did a software update, but it does include iTunes I tried it on Chrome, Safari, and Firefox, all coming up with the same thing. I am also using a Mac.

I've been out of the loop for a couple of years and I'm thinking it might be time to consider an upgrade. I am presently using OSX 10.4.11 (Tiger?) on an iMac 4,1. I got the spinning color wheel for a while before I can use the app. The spinning beach ball also reveals itself when switching modes within certain apps. Might this be due to my hard drive became much fragmented? My OS is latest version of Snow Leopard. All the posts on the Internet says that with modern OS X, I would not need to worry about defragmenting the hard drive. Do I have an option of defragmenting my hard drive if I wanted to?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had an iMac for 8 months now, and I have recently bought a new router as my previous one died after 3 years of service and so I got a new one from BT (I'm in the UK). The new router works with 3 laptops, an iPhone, and two desktop PCs - but not with my iMac.
It intermittently picks up the signal and when it does finally connect, says the router is not connected to the internet - despite my laptop and iPhone being on the same desk and connecting.
I downloaded latest version of iTunes but cannot run it. When I try to start iTunes it asks to 'restore /don't restore' windows then quits unexpectedly and I get an alert telling me iTunes quit....

I have a 17" UniBody MacBook Pro. As far as I'm aware it's the newest version. It has 8 GB of Ram and the Intel Core i7 in it.
When I attempt to turn the machine on- nothing at all happens. If I plug the MagSafe into it, I get no light or anything on the connector. Also, the battery status indicator on the left side seems entirely dead too.
Hopefully this is a simple fix, but I have a pretty bad feeling about this. It is still under warranty, but I use this MacBook in production as a DJ, and I rely heavily on it for my Midi Controller when I do a gig. (I have a few coming up really soon).

I am using a 2002 eMac, 700 MHz, G4 processor. I have OSX10.3.9. The machine and software runs flawlessly. However, since 10.3.9 is the latest version of OSX I can run due to hardware limitations, I am often unable to look at certain websites since they use the latest Adobe Flashplayer that I am unable to download because of of the 10.3.9 version I am running. I have Flashplayer 7.0 on my machine.
Is there a later version I can download?
