I downloaded and installed a Safari Toolbar. However, it is incompatible with my version of safari, and I just get a message every time I boot safari that It cannot work. How do I uninstall it?

I recently updated to Snow Leopard. The transition went very well except for one thing. When I try to open up Photo Booth, it says that it is not compatible with this version of Mac OS X (10.6.1). It also states that it is Photo Booth 2.0.3. Just to let you know, I do not have the backup CD's at the moment.

I have the most recent versions of iLife, iWorks, and Office for mac.The new versions are expected to come at at some point. I am plan to get the most recent versions of these programs when they become available.My question is, do I need to uninstall the previous versions before I install the lastest ones or can I just install the lastest ones immediately without uninstalling the old versions.If I do need to uninstall old versions what happens when I don't do that? I would like to know what happens to the old version after I install the newest version.

1. i downloaded microsoft office for mac 2008. (pirated)
2. i recently purchased a legit copy of microsoft office for mac 2008
when i uninstall the pirated version
- i drag the application from the source to "app zapper"
- i find all the microsoft files and folders and i trash them
- i finally empty trash
When i try to install the LEGIT version, it installs no problem but never asks me to input the serial of the Legit serial key. and when i connect to my network when office is open it say's "blah blah this office is already registered to xxx blah blah" this is because there was myself and this other guy using the same serial from the pirated version and it never lets us use office at the same time. anyways, now that i have a legit (never been used, brand new) serial... i can't even use it...(ie. it doesn't tell me to input the legit serial)
I accidentally installed this toolbar (gamebox) and can not find it anywhere on my MacBook Pro to uninstall it.

I have even re-installed the application and then tried to uninstall (as per the companies instructions). A good 3rd party software to uninstall perhaps??

I'm not sure what hapenned, I must have done something, but one day my address bar decided it wanted to play hide and seek and it won....the "show toolbar" option does nothing upon clicking it, neither does the "customize toolbar" option.

Adobe recommends downgrading from Safari 5.1.7 as this version will not open pdfs in Snow Leopard. Where can I find downloads of older (pre 5.1.7) versions of Safari? The apple site keeps forcing me to the download for the most recent 5.1.7 version.

When I first got this machine, I basically transferred everything from my old computer to the new. One product which I accidentally included was an ancient version of Microsoft Office v.X. Yeah, it is so old that Microsoft doesn't even support it.
Anyway, my thought was that I would use Apple's iWork since I'm not really using it for a business application anymore. But recently my husband bought me Office:mac 2008 and I would like to install it.
First though, I would like to get rid of the old Office program and all its component parts. I looked to see if the install disk had an uninstall program with it; but, guess what? Not. So, I'm hoping somebody here can suggest a way to clean my computer of all the Microsoft Office components.

Today it bounces twice and nothing.I started reading some stuff in mac forums and read what others with a similar problem were saying. They said ichat and itunes were not working either. I tried to check for software updates for Safari from my computer but when I tried that, the software update icon appeared in my dock, bounced once, shrunk and disappeared. I believe it should, but yet I do not know the reason why it will not open. I recently purchased the Bamboo Pen & Touch for my gf and it came with the PSE8 software. I Installed the PSE8 on her iMac (Which she purchased the Black Friday that passed.) But before installing the PSE8 on the iMac, the Bamboo installer was installed first. Maybe I need to install the Bamboo installer before installing the PSE8 software that was included with the Tablet product?
Just doing some pre-SL install research. I'm curious about running the kernel in 64-bit mode. I have a mid 2009 13" MBP so the hardware should be able to boot into the 64-bit kernel. I don't use a whole ton of 3rd party applications and not many external peripherals so I think I might be able to get away with k64.
But, is there a way for me to check for sure? How do I know if certain apps or peripherals/extensions are not 64-bit? If I click on the apps and use "Get Info" will that tell me? Perhaps there is a list somewhere similar to the SL compatibility wiki that tells people's experiences with 64-bit compatibility. What if I boot into k64 and try to run an incompatible item, will the OS tell me so, or just crash, or just not work, or what?
