We know it is being cause by these recent updates:Java for OS X 2012-004 or Java for Mac OS X 10.6 Update 9.Is there any fix for this or a way to revert back to the previous version of Java, without having to re-install Mac OS? May 2, 2012I'm running Safari 5.0.2 on a 15" Macbook Pro running Snow Leopard 10.6.6. I'm having issues with some sites so wish to try another version of Safari to see if that will help. I downloaded versions 5.0.2 (just for safety if I had to return to it), 5.0.3 and 5.1.1, all of which said they were compatible with Snow Leopard. When I attempt to install 5.0.3 it says it cannot install as it needs OS version 10.6.5 When I attempt to install 5.1.1 it says it cannot install as it needs OS version 10.6.7 Even when I attempt to install 5.0.2 it says it cannot install as it needs OS version 10.6.4 What Gives? So I open Safari, I see my homepage than roughly around 30 seconds later it crashes. I have already uninstall every third plug-ins such as adobe flash player, but still the same.
