I recently installed a new internal hard drive on my mac which meant copying all my music back into iTunes. This has left me with a bit of work to organise all my music again, particularly those songs that I purchased through the iTunes store. The long and the short of it is that it's asking my to authorise the purchased tracks using the account that I used to buy them. This wouldn't be a problem except that I cant work out which password it is that I use on that account. The problem is every time I click the "forgot password?" button to reset it all I get is webpage with an error message (see attached picture).

When I email PDFs, they are automatically converted to JPGs unless I create an "archive" of them, in which case lots of people can't open them, including Mac and PC users. As a sometime graphic artist, this is a real concern. On my old iMac using OS 9, I never had this problem.

Is this for security reason and how can i solve this phenomenon? Sometimes the picture/photo opens in an other window with the righthand click, but not always. Another problem is: when i copy a photo and past it in my mail or other document, i get the url, but not the picture itself.

I would like to take a picture from my library and send it as an attachment in a email. The only way it seems to be able to be sent is by embedding it in the letter.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have some screenshots which I would like to paste directly into an outgoing mail message. I am NOT talking about adding it as an attachment, and am NOT talking about simply adding an icon within the message which the recipient must then click on in order to open up and see the screenshot. What I am talking about is PASTING the screenshot/picture directly into the body of the mail so that the recipient can see it right away the same way it can be done in Outlook. I have seen up to this point completely misses the mark by explaining how to add an icon (which needs to be clicked to be seen) within the mail rather than answering how the image can be shown in the message itself.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an HDD attached to my TC for use with Time Machine (the internal is being used as storage) and figured I'd connect it directly to my MB since I'm in the process of moving and really needed to back up while my TC was packed away. I was expecting TM to start a new backup on the hard drive since it's not possible to continue a backup when you switch the drive to a TC or AEBS... but I was pleasantly surprised when it continued backing up to my sparse bundle file while directly attached!
If only it were possible to continue a backup on a hard drive when you switch it to a base station.
