so ive been using the same cds for like the last year....and all of a sudden my itunes wont find the cd when i put it in. it shows it on the desktop but not in i tunes. i think this all started happening when i upgraded to the newest version.

[I'm running a MBA under 10.7.3, with latest iTunes (10.5.3).] Symptoms: The Home Page is completely blank except for right panels (Quick Links, Top Charts) and iTunes Store footer; all other tabs on top do the same, except for App Store page, which is completely blank.Connection to Store is fine--iPhone syncs w/o a problem, and I can see my apps, music, updates, etc., can even access my Wish List.Updates download w/o problems, but if I try to view page for an app, only the top part of the page loads, down to "What's New in version xxx". Everything below is blank--no views of app, no Reviews, etc.Category pages will load, but without any Thumbnails, only text, but Purchase buttons work.My iPhone connects and appears as it should--no problems at all.

I have been trying to open a web page on a site I have visited with no trouble before, but all I get is a blank, white page instead of the news article that it linked. Others are able to get the article, but I just get a blank page. I've tried using Safari, Camino, and Firefox, and all give me the same non-result. Could this be something to do with the Safari update I installed this morning??

I recently updated to iTunes 10.6.3. Since the update, I have been unable to burn CDs from any iTunes playlist. When I hit Burn, it asks me to insert a blank disc; I do; but then iTunes doesn't recognize that I have done so.
Strangely, I am able to burn the CD just fine in Toast Titanium, which did recognize the blank CD -- so the problem isn't with my SuperDrive. It seems as if iTunes isn't talking to the rest of the Mac.

I am unable to access the iTunes Store on my Macbook. I open iTunes and try to go to the iTunes Store. All that is there is a blank screen. When I try to search for something, it stays on the blank screen. I have completely updated the iTunes software and am still experiencing the same issues.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having a rather annoying problem playing videos on itunes. Instead of the video, I'm getting a white screen with sound. In full screen mode, I'm getting a blank screen, also with sound but no controls pop up when I move the mouse around. I'm getting this with episodes of Lost I downloaded from the itunes store (as well as previews on the itunes store), as well as the "Jake and Amir" podcast. Curiously, if I open the Jake and Amir podcast in VLC it runs fine, but if I try the Lost episodes in VLC they come out without sound OR video. The Onion podcast, on the other hand, works just fine in itunes. This problem, I think, only goes back to when I got the latest version of Itunes.

Just a blank screen, with the ability to sort by name ,etc tab. I just bought the HD version of Chuck Season 2 since I have seen Season 1 and looked at the download part in the iTunes and it has 44 to download. I noticed that is it downloading the SD as well. Is that really how it does it? I've bough Scrubs Seasons 3 & 4 before but those where just SD.

I had an impulse to buy Avatar on iTunes because I fancied watching an action movie in HD on my Mac, but I'm in the iTunes store an it doesn't specify what resolution the movie actually is - only that it's 'widescreen'.

The default iTunes Media Folder is located on this drive where about 70% of the songs are (songs that have been ripped from CD or downloaded.
My USB HD was plugged in correctly, but a song couldnt be found...so I tried another and it found it straight away...odd
I then hit 'Get Info' on the bad songs, and the location that Itunes was looking in, was changed to a new Default iTunes Music Folder on my Macs drive
Very strange as I have never known iTunes to change the location of a file before within the library?
Ive come to the conclusion that it was only the files that were stored in the Default iTunes Media Folder that coudnt be found.
So I then checked in preferences, to see where the Default iTunes Music Folder was, and it was on my Macs Drive, instead of the USB drive (possibly due to starting iTunes up, without my HD plugged in)
Changed this back to location on my USB Hard Drive, and all of a sudden iTunes re-writes my library to show all the files in the correct position again! Ive never known it do this before on my PC, is it a new feature?

If I change this path to a path on the other drive which has space, is it going to mess up what I already have in my tunes library?
