I have had Clicktoflash for ages, and recently got the Safari extension to replace the addon. Even more recently, i decided to disable Java, because my browser seemed to still be crashing. Ever since then, i have not seen Safari crash once, we're talking about a month of daily use. I'm curious, has anyone else experienced something similar?

Sometimes I go through the reviews of Apps or CD's and whatnot and I'd love to reply to them - either to agree with them or to tell them how stupid they are (mostly the latter) .

I would like to know if there is a way to allow people to put comments on your IWEB page for a mac.? I saw blog but that is whatever I want to type. I want there to be a small screen on the homepage of my site that lets people type in a comment.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI used to publish my iweb blog via mobileme. Just now I have changed to publish it via a ftp server and all contents of my iweb blog moved across to the new website address except blog comments! I really want to move my comments, but cannot work out how!!
View 4 Replies View RelatedI want to create a website with a blog that has the ability to add comments and easily insert photos or video. I've been debating back and forth about using iWeb '09, Rapidweaver or Wordpress. Wordpress seems the most customizable but I'm somewhat intimidated how complicated it is to simply insert a video. Especially with iWeb's new features like custom domain name, simple insertion of pics and videos, plus Google Maps widget I'm seriously settling with iWeb, with the hopes that I don't outgrow it. I'm fairly computer savvy but know nothing about HTML hence my concern about user friendliness and convenience.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI don't mean tags, but short comments attached visually to files within the Finder? like a sticky note. I have huge image archives, and want to add short comments to certain pics / files, which are visible by an icon as I scroll through.
I'm not after a third-party solution, I prefer to access my images via Finder (which I find the best and least-fuss image browser since Snow Leopard), just wondered if anyone had made such an app?
In Aperture, on the Info tab, in the drop down menu near the bottom, you can view comments from shared photo streams. I would like to print these comments. This comment field does not appear in the Exif or IPTC menus. Where is this field? Is it metadata? How can I print it?

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter combo update to 10.7.3, in Safari 5.1.3 the "show in finder" magnifying glass will not open my downloads folder to show downloaded files. That is, if I have invoked "Show Downloads" from the View menu in Safari and then hover over the magnifying glass, you see a "show in finder" in gray under the downloaded file's name. In the past, clicking the magnifier then would open a Finder window and highlight the downloaded file.

Safari shows websites' names in the bookmark bar (instead of icons). They are all grey against a grey background, which is really uninspiring.
On PC it is possible to display websites icons (in their original colour). In fact the default mode is icon. Anyway to to do that on Safari / Mac?

Selecting either Show All Bookmarks or Show All History brings up only totally blank tabs labeled bookmarks:// in both cases, not the familiar window where one can organize and edit Bookmarks and view and search History.
Have already repeatedly trashed the Bookmarks.plist and the History.plist, as well as com.apple.Safari.plist in my user Library. (There are corresponding files in my root level Library. Also Repaired Permissions and Verified disk.Â
My default browser is Firefox, but I like to use Safari occasionally in a couple of sites.

Last night, I was trying to download Xcode 3.2.5 and it wouldn't show up in my downloads window.
This is what it looks like. as you can see, it says the number of DLs at the bottom of the window.
The file DOES download, but for some reason, it just wont show up in my download window.
these are my bookmarks folders and this is my bookmarks editor why dont my folders show up? and how can i delete/ edit my folders?

Other than going into 'show all Bookmarks' is there any alternative way of editing my bookmarks? I've collected hundreds and dragging them around one by one is going to be pretty time consuming. I used to have a third-party app called 'Bookmark Farm' which gave me a way of visually categorizing in a graphic layout. Now, when I want to Bookmark, got to scroll through folders and subfolders. Must be an easier way!

When I hit Bookmarks>show all Bookmarks, I get a fast visual 'flash' but the Bookmarks window does not appear, and an accompanying change in the bookmark icon in the bookmarks bar. When I again return to Bookmarks, rather than 'show all Bookmarks' I find 'hide all Bookmarks,' but other than the flash and the change from 'show' to 'hide' no bookmarks list has appeared. On the second attempt, I get the spinning beach ball, then Safari hangs, and the icon in the dock no longer shows 'quit' but 'force quit.' Running 2008 MacBook and Snow Leopard.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI started having an issue with Safari this afternoon with the Downloads windows not showing the files that are downloading. The Downloads window will show the number of files downloading at the bottom of the screen, but the window is completely empty of files. The files do download, but I would like to be able to see the status of the downloads.
Any ideas on how to get the downloads to display again? I have tried resetting Safari and rebooting, but no luck so far.
