After loading recent updates when I try to access my Adwords account the browser constantly loads then crashes with a message Apples been advised. I will assume they will respond when they get around to it. I haven't loaded another browser yet wonder should I wait for a miracle or any suggestion for browser?

Safari keeps crashing and closing down after about 30 secs from launch. Has anyone else seen this and what are the best options.

Just loaded OS X 10.5.1 on my G4 Powerbook which has all other 'original' software. Still learning to navigate (and find all files etc., which don't reappear in original format...) but MAJoR problem is cannot open iphoto which worked perfectly beforehand. Just crashes instantly. Computer suggest i relaunch, then crashes again, instantly, and then suggests reload and relaunch and, then crashed again. Would ideally hope my photo library is still intact
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an early 2011 17" MacBook Pro which is freezing up a lot, this only seems to happen with iTunes is loaded. The machine runs perfectly when iTunes isn't running, and it'll run for a little while when it is open, but then eventually all programs will freeze, leaving only the cursor moving. That will then stop moving as well and the entire machine will stay stuck as it is - the only thing that can be done at this point is to power it off. Closing the lid has no effect - the screen stays on and the machine does not sleep.
I've tried various things to fix this based on other threads with similar issues:
- Reset SMC and PRAM
- Reinstalled iTunes
- Disabled automatic graphic card switching
- Installed all latest updates - this seems to have made the problem worse
- Stopped my iPod touch and iPhone from syncing over wifi and made sure they aren't plugged in either
- Ran AHT, no problems reported
- Repaired disk permissions
- Reinstalled Mac OS
- Left the machine in its frozen state to see if it would wake up (it didn't, even after leaving it all night)
Every time this happens, I have a look at the Console to see if any errors were logged during the crash, but it seems there aren't any - the last few lines before reboot are always different and seem to have no real pattern to them.

I can access my on-line bank using Internet Explorer but I can't with Safari. When I try I get the following message "The page [URL] has content of MIME type "application/x-java-vm". Seems like it happens more often when there are images embedded in the e-mail, like when someone has one in their signature, but I honestly can't tell what the rhyme or reason is for it.

I'm very new to Mac and I really don't know how to fix this.
I'm using an iMac(seen in sig.) and I had installed Photoshop, and while of course a little slow due to Rosetta it worked. Then maybe a week ago, it just seemed to stop opening up and crashing immediately. I'm running OSX 10.4.8, everything is properly updated and I've reinstalled photoshop a few times to no avial. The problem didn't seem to occur after any change, I might have just not noticed it though.

The Adobe crash report indicated that it's an Apple bug on file save/open, and when I did some research on the internet it indicated that (even from back i 2009) this is known bug.Â

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy OS is Leopard 10.5.0. I updated my quicktime to 7.4.5, then when i rebooted, finder and spolight arent opening and crashing. Then, with appcleaner, i uinstalled QuickTime, but the problem continued. So i deleted the QTKit.framework, the console pointed it by the center of the error, so i did it. I also deleted the plists or something like that, reseted the pram and nothing, repaired permissions, verified disks and nothing!! I tryed to install the combo updater 10.5.2, but for some reason, while in the 'choose drive' part, the program freezes.I also tryed to install via terminal, but i got this:

I am new to this forum and was wondering if anyone would be able to offer me some help, my itunes will open but immediatley shut down, my safari offers up a message to the effect that I do not have any internet connection and my updates will not work saying as well that there is no internet connection.
I think I have messed up me computer when I was messing around with the settings to try and watch ABC TV to try and watch season 4 of lost online, but me being in the UK I needed to change some settings which would have enabled me to watch this. However I have messed up my computer and not even been able to watch the program online.

Safari will not allow me to enter websites with 1 passwords. When I input the password it reverts back to enter you password. I have updated to all of the newest versions and Safari is still not working. I am having no issues with Firefox.

I installed the software updates pushed to me the week of May 7, 2012 (installed them May 12th) and now cannot open certain web pages (examples www.cnn.com and www.ancestry.com) but am able to open others (ex. www.harrynorman.com). I installed an update to safari, one for security and another I cannot recall. Rebooted (twice) and still having the same problem. I have a Macbook running Mac OS X 10.6.8 and Safari 5.1.7.

I'm going to jump off a bridge if it keeps crashing on me like this. The worst part about it is that Safari doesn't have a feature that brings your tabs back if your browser crashes. Anywho, I tried reinstalling but I don't think that helped. I also tried clearing everything under preferences but that didn't seem to work. It's the most annoying when I'm watching YouTube videos in full screen and then once the video is over, I get that rainbow ball and next thing you know, Safari crashed. Does anyone know anything else I can do? I don't feel like switching back to Firefox. I love Firefox, but not as much on the Mac. And I think Chrome is just meh, I don't like Google that much since they're involved with almost everything.
View 9 Replies View RelatedJust did update to Safari 5.0 via software update. G4 Dual 867 OSX 10.5.8. Crashes every time I attempt to click on any link. Starts to connect, Beachball-crash. If left idle, without clicking any link, still crashes after less than a minute. Fixed permissions, re-installed with download from Apple site, permissions again..... no difference. Disabled Click to Flash, Ad Blocker...same thing. Just won't work!!!
View 9 Replies View RelatedSafari keeps crashing on open (it doesn't even start to open - just goes straight to crash report). It seems to be doing this since I upgraded to 5.01. I have posted the crash report below which is always the same - ie it crashes on thread 3 but I am unable to decipher why.
I repaired the permissions a number of times - and rebooted. This worked once and safari was up an running again. But the next time I came to open it it was broken again. I have even tried a reboot into safe mode which I believe rewrites all permissions rather than just repairing them - didn't work!
