OS X V10.7 :: No "Save As PDF" Option In Lion
Jun 25, 2012I'm unable to "Save as PDF" from Safari web browser, earlier this option was available in Snow Leopard but not in Lion.

OS X V10.7 Lion :: Why No Save As Option In The Word Processor
Jul 2, 2012So any discussion of why Apple would remove the most common function of all word processors in the world, is not permitted. Let's be NICE then.... this is a common fuction that has been removed and it is costing my company lost time in productivity. We can't find files, we can't sort through "duplicates" and "versions". Common practicies our employees have used on all computers are now not compatible with three of our office systems. We upgrade to Lion 10.7.4 to get icloud for phones and ipads, and lose productivity in our office due to lost functions in a word processor. Apparently Apple doesn't want us to think for ourselves. Is there as way to restore this common function to Pages???

Apr 10, 2010While I like the Top Sites feature in Safari, does anyone else wish that Safari would allow you to quit, with an option to save all the current websites that you are currently on, just like Firefox allows you to. Top sites is a cool feature, but it doesn't save the particular site in the form you left it. It basically just opens that page by refreshing it to its current form. I realize that you can save a page in web archive, but it would be a cool feature that Safari could add in a future update.

Dec 29, 2009When I use Firefox, I automatically get a "do you want to save" message when I close down so when I restart FF, I'm back with my same tabs, etc. Never happens with Safari. I even input ID's at websites which aren't held the next time around. Can I get Safari to act like FF when it comes to saving tabs, site Id's, and such.

May 18, 2012Since upgrading to Lion, I can't save changes or even save new documents in Pages on my laptop. When I try to save, I get the dialog box: "The document “Untitled 2” could not be saved as “Untitled 2”. Permission denied" I can't find anything in Pages preferences or in the System preferences where this setting can be changed if it is a setting.

Mar 13, 2012The standard Mac Print - Layout - Pages per Sheet drop down offers 1,2,4,6,9 & 16 pages per sheet. Why is there no 8 pages per sheet option? This seems a bizarre omission. In a world of ISO 'A' paper sizes, it is easy to scale any binary power number of sheets onto, say, A4 for printing. 1,2,4 and 16 are offered - what has Apple got against 8? Does anyone know if/how I might add 8 as an option?

Mar 19, 2012I created a lot of folders in Finder. I have to change Icon size, grid spacing, arrange and some more settings in view options. 'Cause it will take me hours to adjust these settings folder per folder I tried to use the "Use as defaults" command in view options... Doesn't work. (Other folders has the same old settings) How do i get the new view in all folders with only adjusting it one time for all folders?

I would then copy it and go back to the window tab a click on download. I updated Safari to 5.1.3 and no longer have the download option visible.
