I managed to get Site2Site VPN working between two different networks/office buildings using the guide from apple.com. One network server/gateway is 192.168.0.1 and the other is 192.168.1.1, everything works, every client can see every client and every client can see every serverSo far so good.But what I can't do is ping from Mac server one (192.168.0.1) to the other mac server on the other network (192.168.1.1) and vice versa. Nor am I able to get a hold of support (email bounces back). If anyone that is successfully using [URL:..] could you send an email to support telling them that numerous users are not able to access the the mail server. I guess this is provided that they haven't hung it up.

my MBP's hard drive just died. Disk Repair, DiskWarrior, and Disk Utility all agree my apple partition is screwed and unmountable.
I've been able to get it temporarily so that i can boot via an external drive. This is not my issue, my issue is that I have been working on a website for a company. It's been published and everything. My problem is that now that I lost the original files, am I going to be unable to edit it via iweb?
I have 5 days or so until my disk makes it to me (yeah, I'm overseas in an area without an apple store or service center to take my mac to), so I guess I'll find out for myself then.
I just installed icloud. Afterwards I am having trouble opening files becasue Microsoft excel and word aren't working now. How do I change the default to preview to open files?

On both Safari and Chrome browsers, I have been using a particular website - ([URL] .... - this is a website of an institute I have enrolled with and needs a user id to access it) - since a year.
Earlier, on my mac, it would open the links to pdf files as also links to videos uploaded on their site.
However, since the past couple of months, I have not been able to access any of those. Whenever I click, there is absolutely no response from the website. It remains static. Although I am able to navigate through the various pages, but am not able to open anything at all.

I'm currently having is with the Quicktime 7.7.1 plugin for Firefox. I use Firefox 12, running on OS Lion, and this plugin has some sound issue with a particular site I like to visit. When playing audio midis, it sounds tinny and plunky / compressed.I did not have this problem before Lion, but the plugin does work fine on other sites. I tried to delete the Quicktime app. thinking it somehow became corrupted, but I may be wrong. I had my data transferred from my old mac to the new one I have now. I don't know if that could have affected the QT plugin somehow or what.
