OS X V10.7 Lion :: Mac Mail Not Allow To Select Custom Stationery
May 3, 2012I created a stationery in Mail & saved it as such. The stationery is saved under the custom area and consist of mostly text and then some basic graphics at the end of the message (my fiance e-mail signature w/a picture). When I select a new message and then expand the stationary section, I go to custom and select my saved stationary (in the preview it looks like what I saved) by double clicking but nothing happens - I have also tried clicking and dragging - copy and paste, etc. The text & graphics do not appear in my new e-mail.
I have tried deleting and re-creating the stationary as well as restarting Mail & my computer on multiple occasions but nothing seems to work. All of the other pre-installed stationary seem to work just fine. What I am trying to do is set up premade letters that I e-mail to people all the time, I am tired of typing the same e-mail over and over again. I have a dozen or so that I want to type up and save and then just select the appropriate one for my client, type in their name and other minor changes to make it 'customized' to them and click send.....

Get info brings up a permissions window that says "Custom" where the read write should be. It will not let me change these.

May 14, 2012I have an iMac running OS X 10.6.8 that is connected to three printers. The printer I constantly have problems with is an epson photo stylus 1400. Whenever I try to print a full size 8.5 x 11" page using illustrator, indesign, or from a PDF it shrinks the content by 50%. Some of my prints require borderless printing, something this printer is capable of doing. Regardless of printing borderless or with a border it still shrinks all my prints. All my drivers are up to date, and I make sure that the correct settings are used everytime (actual size, US letter borderless...etc)

May 14, 2012I have Lion and the old fax program I was using (PageSender), which will not upgrade for use with Lion. I am going back to using the built-in fax option that Mac has in the Printer functions. Is there a way to create and use a custom fa cover sheet? Or am I relegated to jus the simple text the printer window opens with? And, ues, I do need to have a fax - no everyone, especially the older folks that are clients for our business, are using email, or even using computers. That means to service all of my clients, I must fax.

Feb 16, 2012I selected all the emails in a mailbox. Opened a new email, clicked in the body and click edit>append something or other. All the selected emails from the mailbox appeared in the new email. I click print and mail locks up and I have to force quit It's supposed to open a print dialog box in which I should be able to click PDF in the lower left corner... but I can't get that far. How can I save these emails as a PDF?

May 26, 2012I have just recently upgraded to Lion and created a Snow Leopard partition to run some of my old pieces of music software. I've got a bit of annoying problem where I can't chnge the mouse preferences in the Snow Leopard partition. I can change the dropdown boxes to set the right click etc. and they stay populated all the while that System Preferences is open. However, the funcitonality of the buttons does not change and when closing and re-opening System Preferences the dropdowns are populated with the default options again.Â
I've tried deleting SystemPreferences.plist but this hasn't helped. EDIT: I've also removed the Documents and Downloads stacks from my dock and since restarting these have appeared again. As has the System Preferences icon in the Dock. It seems to be more widespread than just mouse preferences.Â
