When I fill in forms online etc, as soon as I start typing my name, address & contact details automatically appear. This is very useful apart from an old email address appears instead of my new one.

Basically, occasionally when logging into a website (i.e. google, designers.mx, amazon, etc. -- really doesn't matter what site it seems), Lion will entirely freeze up for seconds to up to minutes. More specifically it occurs when tabbing from the username to the password field. This will happen both in Chrome and Firefox. I had thought it was related to maybe firefox add-ons (i.e. I have 1password, but i've disabled them and have had it still happen. I do use firebug, but wouldn't think it was related to this issue..I've already verified there are no issues in the keychain access as well.I can sometimes unfreeze momentarily it by pressing the power button briefly.

How do you delete email address' that come up automatically when sending mail? Old ones that have been changed come up before the new one?? I need to get them deleted.

I recently discovered that many random email addresses are being added to my address book. The majority is junk and is clogging my address book with entries that could possibly be spam addresses. First off, is there something I inadvertantly turned on? Is there a way to disable this feature? I have installed one tool called Attachment Tamer (ver3.0.10 from Lokiware) but this does not seem to have anything relevant. Â

When attempting to transfer money between accounts at my bank I click the Submit button and get the error: "The page must be fully loaded before this form is submitted." There is no error number or code given. The message is apparently generated by my bank's web server. The page is fully loaded. I don't get this error when I use IE on my XP PC unless the page is really not fully loaded.
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor a long time my mac had around 10 GB of space left. Then, two nights ago, I got a notice that said my startup disk was full. I deleted some stuff, a bunch of movies that I didn't know existed, and I had 30 GB of space yesterday. But now, this morning, there is only 10 MB of space left! I think it may have something to do with a file called hfamily1.dmg, which took up 10 GB of space and I couldn't delete it, but I just left it there. But even that wouldn't take up all that room! I've always been connected to the internet, and I've always had an external drive plugged in. I'm running DiskInventoryX right now, but if this problem keeps happening.

When is Apple going to make it easy to print holiday card labels??
Anyone know of a way to add a Spouse's name to a printed address label form?
I have the Spouse names listed in fields, but there doesn't seem to be an option to add that to an address label.
Do you know of a simple program that could do this upon an export of cards from Address Book?
I know I could change everyone's first name to both "first & spouse" and then change it back after I print the labels. That's the solution I found from the Apple help pages.
I'm trying to setup mail on Lion Sever (7.3). The only way I can get it to accept incoming mail is to specify the whole FQDN of the server in the address. For example the domain name is example.com and I have a user set up called john. Sending mail to john@server.example.com works.
But sending mail to john@example.com (which is what I want) returns an error:
554 554 5.7.1 <john@example.com>: Relay access denied (state 13).
For internal DNS, I have:
example.com - primary zonemail.expample.com - alias server.example.comserver.example.com - 192.168.1.2 [URL] - alias server.example.com MX record [URL]
I see references here to problems in mail on 7.3 but not this specific problem.

I have to edit every new entry and change all the fields from "other" to "work." This appears to happen when I "grab" phone or email info from an email message.

Gmail is my default email client. I'm trying to send an email blast to my groups in address book. When I right click on a group, and click "send to...", none of the email address show up in the TO field, only the name of the Group appears.Previously, I used mac mail and clicking "send to" group would result in all email addresses going right where they're supposed to go.I don't know how I changed the client to Gmail, but if I can't get it to work, I'd like to switch it back.

I'm trying to detect a pattern. I suspect that every time our family buys a new apple product we are hit with advertisements. I recently bought a new iPod Touch. I'm using OS 10.4.11. When I email PDFs, they are automatically converted to JPGs unless I create an "archive" of them, in which case lots of people can't open them, including Mac and PC users. As a sometime graphic artist, this is a real concern. On my old iMac using OS 9, I never had this problem.

I save all my contacts in Address Book in the First Name field (not using Last Name Field). When I use Mail to send emails, somehow last name of the sender/recipient gets added to that person's contact. So John Harris becomes John Harris Harris - super annoying!
Someone suggested to delete all from Recent Recipients in Mail - I did that, it helped but only in relation to those contacts who have been deleted from Recent Recipients - is there a way to disable Mail poaching surnames from my emails and inserting them into address book automatically?
Using Mail version 4.6 the default email reader doesn't stay with Mail 4.5. It reverts to "Run a DLLas an app....." Â
