OS X :: Zoom / Maximize Short Cut Key?
Dec 27, 2006I'm just wondering if there's a way to set up a shortcut to maximize/zoom windows on OS X.
like it is on Saft (for Safari), it's cmd+shift+m?

Jun 8, 2012i can not zoom in and zoom out in the finder's windows with the folders as in snow leopard i was able to make the folders bigger with the zoom pinch in and out but i was unable to do with it in mac lion

Oct 15, 2005I've found that clicking on the green '+' button in the upper left hand corner of a window does not appear to have the same effect as on a PC. On the PC, doing so causes that window to go to full screen. On the Mac, it appears to only increase the window to some size larger than the current size, but does not go 'full screen'.

May 7, 2009Every once in a while all applications that are open will stutter when I minimize or maximize them. I can't really explain it other then the fact that the animation in not smooth. May 23, 2009I have RightZoom, so when I click Maximize it always fills the whole screen. I hide my Dock unless I mouse over it, and my windows won't maximize over the bottom 5 pixels of the screen. I drag the bottom right corner of the window, and it doesn't make it any bigger.

Just wondering if there is anything I can do to optimize performance and pro-long life on my iMac ready for hardcore music recording and editing, HD Video Editing, Photoshop, Web Design and Flash? Would it be wise to run every single process included in the Onyx application as soon as set up is complete or should I wait till Applications and Music have been installed? MacBook Pro :: OCZ Vertex 2 (E) SSD Lifespan Too Short?
Jan 4, 2011I am thinking of buy a 60GB OCZ Vertex 2 (E) SSD for my 13" MBP, when I was doing research, I found in OCZ's technology forum that people complaining its lifespan drops a percent for every 3-4 days, so I am worried that if this is true, then it can last only a little bit more than a year, although I can get replacement under 3-years warranty, the time spend for re-installing system and migrate all my files is another problem. Also, I do programming, VM and Photoshop, plus web surfing and music, so there is lots of "writes" involved, I'm afraid it won't last a year.
Furthermore, keep watching its health status while using it is a painful experience as you see it dying slowly, similar to checking Load_Cycle_Count of HDD which is the reason I want to switch to SSD.
Anyone using OCZ SSD or other brands, can you share your experience and advice?

When I start up iChat, the program logs in and out really fast until I receive this error message. "Could not connect to AIM... You have attempted to login too often in a short period of time. Wait a few minutes before trying to login again." This happens over and over again.
