We're using Mobile Me but I can't seem to get the Bookmarks to update from her iphone 3GS. Everything updates fine in Mobile Me. How can I get the favorites from out old PC onto this shiny new 27" iMac?

I am really tired of the "Favorites" drop down pad showing up whenever I am entering a search in the URL bar on Safari. Is there any way to turn the function off? It appears that the preferences function only allow you to choose the files you want to show up, and the number. This function needs an on/off switch.

View 3 Replies View RelatedIn FINDER favorites can I reassign/edit the destination (properties) so that when I click e.g. on the "Pictures" link it takes me to my Pic folder on my external HDD instead of the default HDD in the iMac. I have twelve TB of data sitting on 2 Drobo devices and I do not intend to keep any data on the Internal 1TB HDD besides the programs. I know I can remove the current fav from the list and add a link myself but then I get an ordinary folder icon instead of the sexy camera icon. how can I change the icon on the folder.Â

Am I missing something in the App Store or is there not a way to make a "favorites list"? I see so many apps I would like to use or at least read more about and not necessarily download right away. I don't see a way to add an app I like to any sort of list, perhaps an "App Wishlist". I added some folders in finder sidebar a while back, and suddenly, they disappeared, such as the documents shortcut. When I try to put them back, finder removes it again.Also if I go to Finder - Preferences and try to check the documents shortcut to appear in sidebar again, the checkbox doesn't work. I'm pretty sure this happened after I synchronized my iPhone for the first time. How can I add favorites to the finder sidebar again?
