OS X :: How To Convert Subtitle Files From SUB To SRT
Jan 11, 2009I've got a movie that plays fine with the subtitles when I use VLC but when I burn it to a DVD to play in my DivX DVD player, it won't show the subtitles. Like, it recognizes there is a subtitle file there and I choose it, but they don't show up. I can't find any apps that let you convert from .sub to .srt (a more common format).

Aug 25, 2014I have a powerpoint presentation and need to put it on a dvd to show on a tv. I've burned two disks already and both do not work. I know somewhere in the process I need to specify what kind of disc (PAL or NTSC). Can't find that option. I've converted to Quicktime but don't find anything online.

I have a blog and I want to make it into a magazine. I tried to minimize the screen to take a screenshot and load it manually, page by page, but I can't get the page to zoom out far enough. I don't feel like what I want to do is that unorthodox, yet there doesn't seem to be an easy way to do this. The blog is at rosendude.blogspot.com. Ideally, I'd like each article to be one page and the front page to be the cover.

I have been a maths teacher for decades and have many old files which are still very useful but they contain more than just text; they contain diagrams, MathType expressions etc. etc. I need to be able to convert these files to files that can be opened with Mavericks. How I can do this?

Dec 19, 2009I have an avi [Generic MPEG-4, 688 x 288, Millions, MPEG Layer 3, Stereo, 48.000 kHz] and a corresponding srt subtitle file.
I can open the avi in QT but only if I remove the srt from the same folder.
So the avi is good.
If I have the srt in the same folder and try to open the avi, QT crashes immediately.

I have exported via Flash 8, but the problem is: It doesn't keep the vectors function. so I have only a video with all flat images and no movement at all. It's just the program creating a bunch of jpeg and joining them all to create a movie effect.
