I have lots of documents maade over the years with AW 5 and AW 6. I would like now to upgrade to Lion but I understand that AW 5 documents can no longer be opened with Pages under Lion. Is there a script to automatically locate and convert all AW 5 and AW 6 on my HD to Pages and leave the converted doc in the same location as the original ?

I am on an iMac which recently moved to Snow Leopard (10.6.2). I am preparing documents in Word (12.2.3 rtf) but when, after having saved them in Word rtf, I reopen them they reappear automatically in Textedit.

View 1 Replies View RelatedCan someone please convert this to a doc file? I'm on campus and I didn't realize these macs do not have iWork.
View 2 Replies View Related I have a pages document that I need converted to .doc the problem is that I was on the iWork trial and don't plan to buy iWork. I need a way to convert it without iWork.

I've had my iMac, 10.5.8 version, for over 2 years with no issues till now. Last week one of my Pages documents was missing and today another pages document. I searched using Spotlight and Finder but could not find them. The trash did not have them. Unfortunately I had not backed them up for a couple months. My girlfriend, who isn't very Mac knowledgeable, said she had not opened them.
View 11 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, Pages is not giving me the option to delete documents. I've dragged the doc to the trash bin, I've tried right clicking it, I've tried deleting it from the Edit window in the document and still no go. I really need and want to delete these Pages docs.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've created a 15 page proposal in Apple Pages, each page as a independent Pages doc. Is it possible to combine all into one Apple Pages doc/file so I don't have 15 separate ones?
View 3 Replies View RelatedIt is showing "permission denied." This is a sudden change!Â
View 1 Replies View RelatedI don't know how to delete it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've got a number of Pages documents on iCloud, and all of a sudden, none of them can be opened from Pages (5.2.2) on my MacBook Pro. They all appear, but they either say "zero bytes" or there is just a gray line. If I select any document, the "Open" button remains gray. I CAN open all docs on my iPad, and I can also open them using the iCloud web interface. Meanwhlie, Calendar is syncing new events to all devices without problem, in all directions, so it can't be a problem with the account.Â

After the last Pages, Keynote and Numbers update my iCloud documents cannot be accessed anymore. There is no iCloud "storage" under open documents anymore. All my documents are still in the cloud (can access them on icloud.com) but they are not visible in the apps.
All files are however visible in my iOS-apps (Still iOS 7.1.2).Currently using OS 10.10 (14A329r) but not upgraded to iCloud Drive.

How do you attach the file, even?
It says that it's an invalid file!!
I need to convert .pages into .doc. How would I do this?
I work at a local public school district as a web designer, and today I received a .pages attachment from someone (person A) who needed the file on our web site.
There wouldn't be a problem except there are no Macs in our district with the latets iWork. And person A got it from person B, So there's no way for me to access it or have person A convert it themselves. Gah.
So, if there is anyone out there that would be kind enough to open this up and export it as a .doc or .pdf or anything usable on my PC
I have created a decent Pages document that I will be mailing out, but I also have the need to email it to my clients and maybe post it to a webpage. I know I can save the doc as a PDF and send it that way, but I was wondering if there is a way to convert the file to HTML and use that in my email and website. Anyone have a tool or tip on how to do that?
My Pages document has a small table of data and a graph.
It would take me a long time to convert by hand in some other HTML editor as I am not good at that.
I have MS Office 2011, but not Pages. Is it possible to convert / open a Pages document in Word?Â

On Quickoffice and Docs To Go (for iPhone) both won't let you edit Pages documents, but will allow Word documents.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm new to MacRumors. I just installed IWork on my new 13" MBP (has Snow Leopard) and have been unable to open Word 97 documents that I've been emailing myself from work and saving to a flash drive. I have not had such problems with my IMac using Pages.
View 5 Replies View RelatedFrom the response I received in the Pages forum, this appears to be a Lion-related question. Since I upgraded to Lion, I noticed that whenever I open a specific Pages document other recently-opened Pages documents will also open. Is there a way to prevent this? I was unable to find anything in Pages preferences.

On my iMac and MacBookPro I cannot save .pages documents to iCloud iWork. They appear on the iWork screen, but I cannot retrieve them.
However, from my iPad it is no problem!. After editing in iPad and save the documents to iCloud back it is possible to download these on my iMac or MacBookPro without problem.
