OS X :: Current MBP And IPhone - Incoming IMac - Family Setup ?

Id like to have the calendar she sets up on the new iMac to sync with my MBP and my iPhone so that we can stay on the same page when it comes to whats going on with work and our two children. Can this be done across my wireless network? I have the Airport Extreme WBS (802.11n)if that makes a difference.
We both use calendars quite a bit... My iPhone is setup with my MBP, and since i travel quite a bit i need to keep it that way.

I am awaiting my new iMac to arrive and have a question about my current speaker set up and if it will be compatible with my new iMac. The speakers are the 5.1 set and have 3 coloured connectors which connect to the back in my sound card. However, looking at the back of the new iMac, I see no connection for these 3 cables.

Figured it would be a little lighter to have a thread that shows that Apple's computer CAN and DO work occasionally....Here's my uptime on my i7! It wants me to reboot for Safari update, but I refuse. As of 8:42am PST, March 16, 2010:I guess currently I have the longest uptime of anyone in this thread!

So if my current setup on my Mac Pro is (2) 1 TB drives.
(1) for use, and (1) for Time Machine.
Can I connect a 1 TB Time Capsule to essentially "back up my Time Machine back up"?
So I want to have (3) 1 TB HDD's, (2) in the Mac Pro, and (1) in the Time Capsule, all with the same information. I basically need to know if the software is set up for a 1X's backup only, or can it copy the same information again as a redundant backup?

Just looking for some realistic input on adding to/changing my current storage setup as I'm running out of space!
Current setup: Early 08' Mac Pro
External:
160gb FW drive for iTunes Music
Internal:
-150gb Raptor --> Boot drive/Apps
-750gb currently used for all other media
-320gb for windows
-1 tb for backing up the boot, media, itunes drives via time machine.
Now I'm pretty happy with the overall performance of the current configuration and my instinct is to keep the current internal setup but consolidate dvd/bluray rips from the media drive and music from the iTunes drive onto a set of larger external drives. Photos and other working media that need the speed of the internal would stay on the 750gb drive. Basically, I'm wondering whether that is the best/most cost efficient route and if it is, how would you set up the external(s). Single enclosure with RAID1, 2 separate externals (one backing the other up using something like superduper), firewire, eSATA, etc.? Granted my music and movies aren't the most critical files in the world but I'd like to make sure they are backed up. I'd say the most bandwidth intensive use I'd have for the externals would be streaming HD movies from the drive to my PS3 over a local network.

Safari won't load page on family imac. This is limited to our main account as it works fine on Guest. Have tried reinstalling safari, deleting the cache, resetting safari. No Sucess.
Not sure how to specifically remove plugins
Have Imac running Snow leopard 10.6.8, 2.16 GH, 3 GB RAM, 250 GB HD

Finally the new iMac have dropped - what would be the MacRumors suggestion for general family video editing? Essentially I just want to be able to edit some family videos, create some DVDs on iDVD and not have it cug on me. Will the Nvidia 9400M suffice or do I need the ATI 4670?

This process deleted all my current text history, call history, photos, music, ringtones and apps! It replaced all of that data with my old iphone 3G data (data being music, texts, call history, photos, music.) It's like my phone went back in time.. This all happened when I backed my phone up last night. I guess I accidentally backed my phone up to my old stuff. I don't know if I have my iPhone 4 info backed up somewhere..

I recently bought an iphone 4s. I have a macbook pro and have had itunes account for years.when i try to sign up to icloud using my current apple id, it says that apple id is already in use and to change my ID, but the ID is mine and i can sign in fine to itunes with it.

I have a late 2009 i7 and would like to add a 2.5 SSD and retain the current 1TB HD. Is this possible? I don't want to replace the DVD. I have read I would need to short the temperature sensor. Could someone tell me what cable is required? Also do I need a special mount for the OEM HD(3.5?) + SSD? Also another option, have SSD 2.5 and regular HD 2.5 to replace the standard 3.5" OEM HD. I read the logic board only have one SATA port but would like to know if it is possible to use a cable that fits both? Would this affect performance?

Does anyone think it will be possible to swap the next generation/updated iMac's GPU with either the 4850 or 4670 GPU on the current iMac? It seems like a GPU update is the most sought after feature in the pending refresh. I would really like to get an iMac now (would be my first Mac obviously) and for me the decision to buy now would be a lot easier if there was chance of swapping out the GPU's down the road. Thoughts?

I have an iMac that's about a year old. I also have a new PC that's slightly faster. I'm trying to figure out which one to use and which to sell. I had an eMac whose hard drive died after 5 years. The screen was pretty blurry and maybe a little dim by then as well. So, I'm wondering how long this one will last. If the previous white ones were built in a similar manner, how have they held up?

I'm getting the new Canon T2i camera very soon. It's supposed to be retail released in Mid March (which means next week hopefully). Canon supports the new SDXC format. SDXC was introduced in 2009 and it's supposed to be the replacement to SDHC. Supposed to be much higher read speeds. So does the iMac support the SDXC cards?

I have a late iMac 2013 and have had problems since day one and always just assumed it was bad RAM as i upgraded to 16GB, from 8. I finally took the RAM i purchased out and have left the original RAM in and still continually get the below error after restart.
I have removed Kasperky via the Kaspersky removal tool but i notice it still references it below? Unusually it seems to be ridiculously unstable when i am downloading any Movies i have purchased from iTunes (the current movie has crashed 4 or 5 times today) or if i am ripping a DVD i have purchased using iSkysoft. I have started in safe mode but that made no difference, i actually think it has gotten worse since i removed the extra RAM.

I gather there've been more than a few headaches getting working video drivers for the ATI 4850 in the iMac (windows side). A few posts have said that version 8.661 of the AMD driver (Catalyst 9.10) works, but other versions including newer ones, don't.

iMac OS X version 10.9.4 showing Numbers '09 version 2.3. I installed Numbers version 3.2.2 on August 28, 2014. But Numbers will not permit me to open any documents in iCloud Numbers by a pop-up indicating I need the newer version of Numbers 3.2.2!!!!! When I go to AppStore to do so, it shows I installed it in August and will not permit me to get it.
