Jul 1, 2012Google and any searches using the address bar in google chrome do not load at all sometimes. I experience this problem only at home and only sometimes. Everything works perfectly in my university labs. It fails on other browsers like Firefox and Safari as well. Strange this is that all the other sites like Facebook, LinkedIn, engadget all load up properly.

I experience this problem in all browsers: Firefox 3.5b4, Firefox 3.5, Safari beta. It just happened randomly. I've tried rebooting and dissabling all add-ons in firefox.

Oct 13, 2009My Safari won't load google images. Google itself works, and I can search all day long without fail, all the links are fine. But if I'm using google images, nothing loads up. I have deleted my history, emptied my cache, and finally reset safari, still nothing. Google works, its just google images I can't access.
However, I took my macbook into my local Apple store and as you guess, it worked a treat (making me look silly!). So this led me to believe it must be something with my internet connection, something in my modem settings. My parents have a HP Windows vista laptop, and google images works fine for them. And they use the same wifi network.
So now I'm stumped!
I have had my 13inch Macbook since February, and up until a month ago, I could load anything in google images. However a month ago I had to have my hard drive replaced when I upgraded to Snow Leopard. I apparently had a corrupt drive, so under warranty I got a new one - so the computer I am with now only has a hard drive that is 5 weeks old - I have no parental controls, no anti virus software, nothing that I could think of that might affect it?

Jan 18, 2010Just installed a new router - a D-Link Dir-825. I am unable to load anything in Safari or Chrome, and Mail will not go online. Only Firefox works. I've flushed my DNS cache in Terminal (I think...) but that didn't work. D-Link does not "support Safari".

Mar 12, 2012I am having issues with the latest version of Safari -- 5.1.4 -- not being to fully load Google documents. I have a MacBook 2.13 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB of RAM, processor, I'm running OS X 10.7.3, and Safari simply will not load the Google docs web page. It gets about one-quarter of the way through it and then simply stops loading. Occasionally, it will load a partial list of documents, but then I get an error message which said Google docs has failed if I click on a specific document (which it loads but won't load the editing tools). So, I'm having to use Chrome. Google docs worked on the previous version of Safari. This is new, and happened after I upgraded this afternoon.

I just want to use the Fios router.Prior to Fios, I had Time Warner and i used my own router and as soon as I opened up my macbook, it would immediately find that router as my default. Now, with Fios, when i open my "Airport" icon at the top on my screen, it NEVER choses my Fios router as my default, making me change to it every time i want to use my internet after opening up my computer.

Wireless works fine in the house.Downstairs my Xbox 360's ethernet cable is plugged into my AT&T provided set-top box (receiver/DVR) and internet works fine on that. I cannot stream my media (using 360 Connect) from my mac to my xbox since they are on different networks, although using the same U-verse connection.When checking the AT&T router's system summary page I can see that there is an IP assigned to the xbox.

May 26, 2010I have a problem where finder (under any condition even after a fresh restart) does not load the folder contents on my computer.
