google and yahoo wont load. all other websites work fine except for these two.
I experience this problem in all browsers: Firefox 3.5b4, Firefox 3.5, Safari beta. It just happened randomly. I've tried rebooting and dissabling all add-ons in firefox.
I just noticed that yahoo & google and some other webpages I load up are all caps when I am using my 27" IMac, why is it like that? It's pretty annoying, when I'm on my Macbook pro everything is normal.

I did a search on Google for a message board for an NFL team (Baltimore Ravens). The top link on Google was the message board on the official team site. When I clicked on the link, it redirected me to some random shady site. When I tried again, I got through fine. But I then reset Safari (deleting the cookies), tried it again, and the same thing happened. Yahoo provided the same issue.
I do not download anything except for Software Updates (I know about the trojans posing as codecs and pirated software, and have not downloaded anything of the such).
Out of curiosity, I tried Googling the website on a PC with Firefox, and had no problem. I downloaded Safari to that same PC, and the same thing occurred, so this clearly is a browser specific problem. Also of note is that on the PC, the AV detected a trojan about 5 minutes later.
I tried disabling Java, and the Google link wouldn't open the webpage the first time, but I did not get redirected. Typing the address in directly provided no problems.
I am at a loss. Is my system secure? I keep up with all updates (I am currently on 10.5.8, though). Has my system been compromised at all?
i'm already a safari user on my old PC and i used to have yahoo as my search engine (next to the address bar in the top) but right now i have google and am not that satisfy with google and i wanna change it into yahoo. so i pressed the magnifier to select yahoo (like i used to do on my PC safari to switch between google/yahoo) but i'm not finding yahoo. Anyway can anyone tell me how to switch between google and yahoo in my search engine?

First Facebook stopped loading on my computer. Now Yahoo will not load. All other sites seem to load with no issues. I have tried all of the recommended items that I could find including but not limited to Empty Cache, Reset Safari, Cleaning cookies, Adding or changing DNS, clearing history.plist and everything else I could find in the communities. It seems that the pages I visit the most are the ones with issues. I should note that I have had some instances of Safari closing unexpectedly and times where I have had to use force quit.

the draft app pops open when I try to "test system" and it just sits there saying "connecting to server". I can't figure out what is causing the problem. It never times out or anything. I have upgraded Java and Safari and have even tried Firefox, but it still doesn't work.

I thought it might be a virus or something, so I restored my mac and now use a different web browser (google chrome instead of safari). Facebook still doesn't load unless I delete my history, and even then it just opens the first page and then stops, and now Yahoo doesn't load either. The other computers & the iPad in my house load everything just fine, and when I took my computer to a friend's house, Facebook and Yahoo worked on their internet. I am very new to macbook and have only owned my macbook pro for three months. Now when I try to load a google map from a link it doesn't show the map just a blank box with an A in the middle of it.

My Safari won't load google images. Google itself works, and I can search all day long without fail, all the links are fine. But if I'm using google images, nothing loads up. I have deleted my history, emptied my cache, and finally reset safari, still nothing. Google works, its just google images I can't access.
However, I took my macbook into my local Apple store and as you guess, it worked a treat (making me look silly!). So this led me to believe it must be something with my internet connection, something in my modem settings. My parents have a HP Windows vista laptop, and google images works fine for them. And they use the same wifi network.
So now I'm stumped!
I have had my 13inch Macbook since February, and up until a month ago, I could load anything in google images. However a month ago I had to have my hard drive replaced when I upgraded to Snow Leopard. I apparently had a corrupt drive, so under warranty I got a new one - so the computer I am with now only has a hard drive that is 5 weeks old - I have no parental controls, no anti virus software, nothing that I could think of that might affect it?
My new mac would not start after trying to load google earth. At start up it would not get past the page with apple, nor would it start in sage ,ode. Tried to reload lion from inter net. It downloads and tries the reinstall but will not finish.Â

Google and any searches using the address bar in google chrome do not load at all sometimes. I experience this problem only at home and only sometimes. Everything works perfectly in my university labs. It fails on other browsers like Firefox and Safari as well. Strange this is that all the other sites like Facebook, LinkedIn, engadget all load up properly.

I am having issues with the latest version of Safari -- 5.1.4 -- not being to fully load Google documents. I have a MacBook 2.13 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB of RAM, processor, I'm running OS X 10.7.3, and Safari simply will not load the Google docs web page. It gets about one-quarter of the way through it and then simply stops loading. Occasionally, it will load a partial list of documents, but then I get an error message which said Google docs has failed if I click on a specific document (which it loads but won't load the editing tools). So, I'm having to use Chrome. Google docs worked on the previous version of Safari. This is new, and happened after I upgraded this afternoon.

Previously the solution was to install Safari plugins Inquisitor or Glims but Apple have removed the interfaces from Safari 4 that these plugins used - and there is still no built in Safari Preference to set the locale of the Google search. Effectively this renders the Safari Google Search field pretty well useless - at least for UK users. I have a problem where finder (under any condition even after a fresh restart) does not load the folder contents on my computer. Sometimes it loads after multiple restarts but somtimes it doesn't.
