I need to make a PDF file under 3 megabytes. On my old dell computer, I had a program to make the file size smaller to fit a website's requirements. I love my mac and would love to use it better.
View 6 RepliesI have the Windows XP SP1 disk that came with my old computer. I know that OEM disks don't work, but i successfully install Windows onto bootcamp every time i try, and it works perfectly. The only thing is, I can't install the bootcamp drivers which let me access wifi because i don't have sp2. I can't slipstream, because the disk has updates integrated inside of it, and whenever I try to install SP2 from the sp2 install file i dl'd from the microsoft site, it always gives me a "4 additional megabytes required" error. I added 5 gigabytes. and it still has this error.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a 15-inch MacBook Pro, the new unibody ones, and I installed Windows XP, using BootCamp.
I made it a 29 or so GB partition, so it used the FAT32 formatting.
The program I tried to install is the eyeQ speed reading program, and the laptop exceeds every single one of the recommended requirements.
The problem comes when I am attempting to install the program, I keep getting an error message in which it says "This program cannot run on a computer with less than 64 megabytes of ram."
Last time I checked my laptop has 4 GB of ram, and it says the same thing when I checked it while running Windows XP.
My only guess, which I made while typing this, was that I should have formatted the Windows partition using NTSF.
When logging out my I Mac often dont react. It will stay open, or it will sometimes react as it sleep. When I open the Mac again the screen is still warm.

My iMac's Internet Sharing since one week still be very slow. I have a realy fast Internet on my computer, so, that's not a problem. I use IS for my iPad and it opens only 1-3 pages, then it just stills loading. One week earlier I could watch films etc, so it worked. The same problems are also with catching it on my iPhone, so the problems is by iMac. It writes "connection timeout" or something like this.
