View 24 Replies View RelatedI'm able to make DVDs from iPhoto or IMovie & I've mastered IDVD's Menus pretty well. The DVDs play ok in DVD players to that's a plus. Now, what I want to do is somehow put folders of photos .... mainly those I've used in the slideshows...... if possible, on the same DVD. The idea is I can gift a DVD with a video/slideshow & if the recipient wants the photos they can insert DVD disc into their own computer (not necessarily Apple) & download the photos.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am not sure how it happened but after upgrading the gmail account, the user accounts were changed from standard users to Mobile Me users. None of the users has ever had that type of account, and I am trying to figure out how to get it back to a standard user account. When the user attempts to log in, it asks for the user name, but also the Mobile Me user name (which they do not have). to make it worse, Mobile Me is no longer accpting new users, so I annot just add an account and log in using the new info.

I am trying to share photos between user accounts through iPhoto. The problem is that when my photos are brought up on my girlfriends account they are at a very low resolution to what the file actually is. It's like taking a DSLR photo and making it camera phone quality. How can I improve this? can it be done or does iphoto lower the resolution to get a fast transfer time?

I haven't found an easy way to make the same photos, or selected photos, available to my daughter when she opens iPhoto on her user account.
I have only found cumbersome ways involving exporting individual photos, but there must be an easy way to make a group of 30 or so available to her.

we have a macbook pro running Leopard. My wife and I have separate user accounts on the single laptop and keep the music in one central Public folder (both or our iTunes are pointed to this public folder). For some reason, my wife is unable to make any changes to song info (album art, change genre, etc.). However, she can play the music, update her Nano, import music, etc. The only thing she can't do is make changes to the song info. This isn't an issue with my account because I am the primary user account on the computer. We are both set up as Admin and I have assigned Read/Write privileges to all files. Does anyone have any idea what the issue could be? Tech support/program specialist has no idea.

I have recently noticed that all of my accounts have become Standard accounts. I no longer have Administrator privileges for my computer (MacBook). I tried going through Root to change my normal account back to Administrator but according to my accounts preference pane even my Root account is listed as standard. I can check the allow user to be an administrator on this computer but it does not save this preference and will un-check once another user is selected or the window is closed.
I have also tried creating a new account through single user mode but again to no avail.How would I go about fixing this problem? I would like to install some new software and some software is no longer working the way it once did since this change.
