May 31, 2012I want to make a contact group email more interesting can I get any extra templates to add to the existing ones ?

Mar 6, 2010When I send 1 email to 1 recipient from my gmail account on mac mail, the mail activity monitor on the bottom left indicates that I am sending 2, 3 or as many as 5 emails. It takes a long time to send when this happens. It only happens when I send from the gmail account and never from my other accounts. I have no "extra" mail in my sent folder. Is someone else sending email from my computer?

I show my wife's PC and Time Capsule but I have an extra PC named Gerry581e of which I have no idea. I would like to know how to delete it from the list.

Mar 31, 2012I have an iMac Intel ( 2008 ) and a problem came up so I figured if anybody knew anything about this as we don't have the biggest support in Greece to be honest , to help me.I pushed the power button but it gets stuck on the boot screen after the "bong" sound but it shows a second apple logo next to the 'original' one but it is broken as extra pixels.

May 15, 2012Can i use My Old iMac as a extra monitor. My Old iMac from early 2008 has a broken graphic card nvidia 8800 gs. When I start it up I hear the bong and see the symbol spinning then the screen goes black from right to left the computer is running but I can't use it. I assume it's the graphic card. Can I use this iMac as an extra monitor to my other iMac.?

Oct 20, 2010I run a business and I've been able to open my invoice templates up until a couple days ago. For some reason when I try to open them now, I get a Converting: Metafile progress bar that pops up and it keeps looping like its converting something, and there is something about the graphic filter too that comes up but the document never actually opens. I can open Excel and start a new document and such but when I try and open this particular template it does this. I need to print out some invoices for my customers.

Some adjust themselves when you change the menu's aspect, other's don't expand to fill the screen.
I'm told you can adjust the template file directly (in Photoshop or whatever).

Mar 29, 2012I run OSX 10.5.8 with Mail 3.6. I have used Mail templates successfully many times. Today I decided to make a custom template and followed the directions in Mail Help. When I saved my custom template, Mail closed and gave me the report window. The report could not be submitted. I can open Mail and do all normal Mail functions, except for the templates. Now, every time I open templates, the Mail app closes and gives me the report window, and each time the report window will not submit the report. I don't really need to make custom templates, I was just trying to learn something new. I do like the standard templates and would like to be able to use them. I closed Mail and re-opened. I shut down the computer and rebooted but no luck. How I can get back to the way things were?

Jun 16, 2012I have created a new template document in Pages but am unable to 'Save As Template'; I get an error message saying that I don't have the right permissions. Having looked in the Library/Application Support/iWork folder I find that I have no permissions for the Pages sub-folder. It says there is 'custom access', my account doesn't exist in the list and everything is greyed out. Interestingly however, I do have permissions for the equivalent Numbers sub-folder. I have run Repair Disc Permissions - but this makes no difference.
