I don't really want to use iPhoto at all. I want to use PSE. How do I set my computer to open PSE when I insert my memory card or when I plug in my iPhone or for any other thing that uses photos? Can I just completely uninstall iPhoto?Â

Jun 29, 2012I've seen some saying my iMac can hold up to 32GB of RAM. But the manual says 16. Does it take advantage of ram above the stated 16 and I'm thowing money away? Or will it work? As long as it fits in the slots, right?

Jun 5, 2014When I start up my iMac the desktop photo only takes up part of the display area in the upper left. The Dock is also showing up on the right side of the desktop photo and not on the right hand side of the screen where it should be. All my desktop file icons are where they should be. Â
If I switch accounts and switch back the display is back to what it should be. This just started happening in the last week or so and only happens on one account on the computer. I have not made any setup changes or installed any software before this happened but I did install the latest OSX update right before this started happening.
