I have a very large image that I want to print full size, but i only have a regular printer with 8.5x11 sheets. Is there an app that will break up the image so I can print it on multiple pages and then tape them together again? I'm having poor luck googling this.

In systems prior to "lion" when I wanted to select and print multiple different imagews per page, I could select the number I desired in "copies per page". Now when I select a number in "Copies per page", I get that number of a single image instead of 1 of each each different image.

I have a panorama picture that I would like to print out. The print menu lets you put multiple pictures on one page but not one picture across multiple pages. I was wondering if anyone knows how to do this without manually cropping the picture up into one page pieces.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI've been disappointed that the preview in the Leopard print dialog does not update if you select to have multiple pages per sheet. I often do this to conserve paper when I'm printing lecture notes. With Leopard, I'm often doing this blind and get things out of order. Has anyone got this to work? I seem to think that one of programs--either preview or Acrobat--provided this functionality in Tiger.
View 1 Replies View RelatedFirefox has this option on OSX (each frame on separate page), but safari seems to lack such an option. I need to print multiple frames (invoices from zencart) each on separate pages. When I try to print with Safari it will either try and print the selected frame, or it will print all the frames as it's laid out on the page (all printed on one page). Am I missing this option somewhere? Is there an extension I can try (already tried print plus to no avail)?

I am looking for free (Or very cheap) software that would allow me to add watermarks to a large amount of images at one time so I wouldn't have to manually put a watermark on each photo. Anyone know good software for this?

In a 300 to 400 page document that contains 60 to 70 pages of diagrams, is there any way to designate which pages will print. Sometimes, I need to print out only the diagrams. I don't really want to type in 70 separate page numbers in the "page range" section of the print window.
If I can't do this in Word 2008, is there some other program that I can do this in?
I have labels sheets (Avery) that I want to print on.
In Word, i just choose File, New, Labels, and am given a choice of label types. I fill in the tabs and job done.
Does anyone know how to do this in Pages? I know how to create a table, but, isn't there an easier way to do this?
Plus, can I edit the current business cards template so that I can use it to create the labels?

If I insert another TOC in my document, and update the content of that table, pages still updates the first TOC, too, even though the second TOC is in another section.
When I print multiple checks they print in the wrong sequence. If I have checks 401, 402 and 403 in the printer in that order, they print 403, 402 and 401. How can I change this to print not collated?

As the title says, I just can't get Preview.app to print a 33 page PDF using 2 pages per sheet in the correct order. It will print two pages per sheet of paper, but page 1 will come on the right, 2 on the left, 3 on the right, etc. I tried every possible combination in the "Layout" menu to no avail.

I thought it was the "fastest web browser" and yet it has issues opening 5-10 pages at the same time in tabbed mode when selecting "open in tabs" from bookmarks.I understand it can't load all pages quickly at the same time but even after few min (and i have a fast DSL connection) some pages appear crippled, some missing entire images, etc.

In order to be able to change the order of the chapters I please, I have made a section out of each and every one. Now I face the following problem: The first, I think, four pages I have enumerated with roman numbers, the rest I wish to have in Arabic numbers. However, now that I have introduced sections, each sections restarts the arabic numbers. So, e.g, page 10 start as 1, page 11, again, as 1. Each next page is a new section, therefore, starting with one. So, how do I make those sections behave properly, and continue numbering properly?

One Thing I've noticed is that there is a colouration shift on large images - Running it on a 1080p Monitor, The cAlculator on the dashboard is Green and wallpapers don't look right.
Is this down to the 64Mb Beast of a GPU or my TV?

I have seen one method which invloves opening a PDF then dragging images to the sidebar and saving it however the PDF file size is huge.
I still use both windows and mac for various tasks.
On a PC if i want to look at a bunch of images, I can double click on one, Windows Photo Viewer pops up and I can scroll through all the images in that folder.
However on a osx, the file opens in Preview but forwards and back are greyed out, is there any way of making it work so I can scroll through my images like I can on Windows?

We have an HP Photosmart Premium C410.We using both Safari 5.1.2 and Firefox 10.0.We use a network connection from the printer to our MiniMac.We have been unable to get images (photo's) to print with the rest of the web page which is text (the text portion does print.This does not happen on all, but does happen on most web sites we go to.In order to get the image (or photo) to print, we have right click on it and copy it seperatly onto a WP blank.This is a big pain.We would like to be able to get the picture/image to copy/print with the rest of the web page.Would anyone know what might need to be addressed to get this to work properly.
