I only just downloaded Mavericks this past week. I don't like how we have to use the "shift" or "command" key to delete multiple emails. I preferred and found it simpler to just use my mouse and click and highlight. Can this might revert back ?Â
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased a macbook pro after using PC for many years. All my pictures are on the iphoto application.
What I've noticed is that if I go to the All Images folder in Finder, I can see that I have duplicate pictures and all have different sizes. What I want to know if I delete them, would I delete the ones that are in iphoto?
I have 10 images I want to convert into a PDF. How do I do it?
I have seen one method which invloves opening a PDF then dragging images to the sidebar and saving it however the PDF file size is huge.
I still use both windows and mac for various tasks.
On a PC if i want to look at a bunch of images, I can double click on one, Windows Photo Viewer pops up and I can scroll through all the images in that folder.
However on a osx, the file opens in Preview but forwards and back are greyed out, is there any way of making it work so I can scroll through my images like I can on Windows?
I'm going through multiple images from an old folder and each time I want to look at them Preview loads them on my desktop. Is there a way to delete them all at once from my desktop without clicking the "x" button on each one?

I have a very large image that I want to print full size, but i only have a regular printer with 8.5x11 sheets. Is there an app that will break up the image so I can print it on multiple pages and then tape them together again? I'm having poor luck googling this.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIn systems prior to "lion" when I wanted to select and print multiple different imagews per page, I could select the number I desired in "copies per page". Now when I select a number in "Copies per page", I get that number of a single image instead of 1 of each each different image.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI must be doing something wrong, as it does not make sense. I am using laCie external hd to store my image files. I now want to delete some of them on laCie, ie free some space, and store anew other files on it. When I do delete/move to trash files from laCie, the total usage space/free space won't change, though I am no longer seeing the folders/files just deleted.
Do I have to do it in a different way? I am on Powerbook G4, OSX 10.4.11.
when I start to import my photos in to iPhoto it says there isn't enough space for it. I know that every picture I import in to iPhoto makes a copy for iPhoto, so...is there an easy way to delete photos I don't need anymore from iPhoto and from my hard drive in order to clear up space? I can't even find the folder where the iPhoto photos are.

I have 10,000 images & documents (if you click on the finder icon & go to images or documents) on my computer - my question is: can I delete these? Some I do not know how they got there. Or do I just leave them alone.

When you are visualizing some pictures in the Preview, and you want to delete some as you see them, when you press command+delete, they are deleted from the list on the right of the preview (slides), but not deleted from thew hard disk....!
Anyone knows if there is a way to delete pictures while you see them in the Preview other than doing it with "right button+move to trash"?
This is so annoying, it should be a short cut to be able to delete pictures right away as you see them, and you know that you don't like them...
