If you fill in the contact form and send a message, it will say if the mail doesn't get though, use the email in the readme but i can't find the readme. I have read it's quite difficult to contact the main guy which is a shame as saft is a great little addition to safari.
I know that firefox has foxtorrent, and opera has a bittorrent downloader built-in, but I'm not really interested in switching browsers. I have looked everywhere but to no avail for a plugin that integrates directly into safari that can handle torrents.

Yesterday, Safari began crashing every 45 minutes. I get a message that says Safari quit unexpectedly because of a plug-in called .MasterofDefense.tmp. I used finder to search my computer, and I cannot find this file. PlugIn Path: /Users/<myname>/Library/Application Support/.MasterofDefense.tmpPlugIn Identifier: .MasterofDefense.tmpPlugIn Version: ??? (???) The file is NOT in that location mentioned in the crash log. According to web searches, MasterofDefense is some game, but I have never installed any games on my machine.

I'm just wondering - do you guys use Safari extensions, and if so, which? I used to use Saft, Inquisitor and Safariblock. Just run into Glims today - how do you like it compared to Saft? Obviously, it runs with WebKit nightlies which Saft does not, that's a point. As for adblocking - is Safariblock state of the art, or do you recommend something else?
View 14 Replies View RelatedI was very excited like everyone to install new Safari 4 and the excitement sustained for a while. Ubiquitously, it is visually delightful meeting Apple Standards. However, I lost lot of plugins that I had for earlier Safari version. Plugins like: DivX player, Real player are gone after I installed the new version. It is not recognizing by itself if there are missing plugins and neither I see an option where I can install by myself.

Anyway I'm stumped by something that seems like it should be rather simple. I'm trying to listen to XM Radio Online. Safari tells me that the required plugin is not installed, but it doesn't give me any option to install it! So I installed Chrome thinking it would be smarter than Safari. Chrome shows me the little plugin icon, but it doesn't let me install the plugin either. How the heck am I supposed to install plugins in these browsers?

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhenever I want to mail a Link to an Internet page, I click on "File" and then choose "mail Link to this page". Mail then opens with the Link included and I then email it to whoever I want. Since yesterday however I noticed that I can no longer do this. Whenever I want to mail a Link I get the following message: "An email message can�t be created to send the Link because Safari can�t find an email application" I tried a restart of the computer, I reset Safari but nothing helps. The problem persists. I checked with Firefox and here I have no problem to mail Links. Only Safari does not seem to be able to recognize that Mail is installed or cannot connect to Mail?

However when I go to Google's IP, http://64.233.187.99/ the page loads right up. Every other website loads fine except www.google.com. C:/Users/*Username*/AppData/Roaming/Apple Computer/Safari
But I have everything except the Preferences plist. Ultimately I just want to adjust the settings as you would with terminal to make Safari 4 use its blue inline progress bar, I think this is a bug (which I have reported).
Secondly, would anyone happen to know how to make the User Agent a permanent change to Firefox 3, as this is the only way to be able to access Live Mail, as Safari 4 seems not to want to play ball with it. The temporary fix so I have found is to set the User Agent as Firefox 3 (Even the IE8 didn't work??).
I've had a lot of trouble with Safari. First off, when I try to go to a website, Safari will continuously load the website for about a minute, until the "Page cannot be displayed" or "Safari can't find the server" page comes up. Then, if I try to go to the website again, it works. Just like that. This happens up to twenty times daily. Also, if I try to view pictures on Google Images, it will not load all of them. I don't understand what the problem is. This has been happening for months now. Ever since I've upgraded to Safari 5, it's ten times worse. I can't explain why Safari does this. I have a 2.53 Ghz, 4GB RAM, and 250GB MacBook Pro (2009). I haven't even had the laptop for a year. I have Internet security on my Mac (Intego), but don't know if that could contribute to the problem.
View 17 Replies View Relatedi have a belkin g plus mimo router that i'm using to send internet to my iphone, powermac (via airport card), and an xp box (via ethernet)
my problem is that the powermac drops the internet connection sporadically. as in its still on the network with a router connection just not receiving internet data. it can also not be accessed remotely by the iphone while this is happening. almost like a false report of being on the network. network prefs show an green light and the proper ip addy, and both the iphone and xp box are still on the network and receiving internet. the only way i have found to remedy the problem is to turn off airport and then turn it back on from the menu bar. this is not accetable. only a temporary solution. especially since i like to access the network from the "outside" (ie other computers, or my iphone on the road). i have no idea what to do bout it. i don't even really understand what the underlying problem is
I have a 24" Dual Core IMAC, Snow Leopard 10.6.4 and have a new MAC address. My external hard drive (Time Machine) stopped working when I got the new MAC addy. The problem is that I do not have the old MAC addy. Is there any way to get my good IOMEGA hard drive to start working again with Time Machine? If so -- how?
