I am trying to print out two eTickets from the American Airlines confirmation email I received. However it will not print the full email. If you know the standard AA email it is only the top and bottom halves of the email, not the middle Itinerary part. I am using 10.6 and an Epson R800 printer.

I'm trying to set up iMessage to be able to send and receive using a gmail account. I enter the information and it says email sent for validation. I have also resent the email. I never get an email in that account to validate. I've checked the spam folder too.

I contacted the bank today and everything is in order so I ordered again and it's been 2 hours and I didn't get the confirmation email yet. Does it usually take this long? I've never bought on the online apple store before. I got the "thank you for your order" thing and everything so I'm sure they accepted the credit card. I'm not sure why the email is taking forever and it's getting me to be a little edgy.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI did a fresh install of Mac OSX on it and then booted it up from the CD again and did a zero-out. I left about halfway through and when I came back I never had any confirmation that it was done so I did another zero out. Again, I didn't receive confirmation when it finished but I did watch it finish that time. I guess I'm just paranoid that someone will be able to get something off of it because I used it for so many years and have so many passwords. So, my question is..is there anything else I should do prior to shipping it off or am I in the clear even if it falls into the wrong hands on ebay?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI was putting a fresh install of OS X on a friend's MacBook. I put in the disk, it asked me to restart, and I went to Disk Utility (on restore disk) to zero out the data on the hard disk. I clicked partition (since he had a boot camp partition) to 1 partition and clicked apply. Here's where things go kinda weird. The confirmation dialogue comes up and the whole screen froze. I waited for a few minutes but nothing. I then held the power button until it shuts down. Reboot, and there's this beeping noise. It beeps 2 times, stops, and then beeps 3 times. I searched Google, which pulled up entries like bad RAM or something, but my RAM wad upgraded a long time ago, really rare coincidence that it failed while Disk Utility (off the restore disk) froze. I need to install the OS.

The reason I ask about Kanex is because if the new iMacs dont come with a great graphics card, I am thinking of buying the lower end imac and connecting my pc to it for the gaming aspect and using the imac for everything else I do.. "Logic, photoshop bla bla" I just dont want to be stuck at 720p and I cant find any real confirmation if I output my radeon 4870 with HDMI if I can choose a crazy res the imac screen support over the Kanex adapter. I am hoping to god the new iMacs come with a 58XX series card but ya know how that goes.. All I play is Team Fort 2 which should be out for mac soon.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAll applications quit suddenly when I click on print or press command+P. I tried everything to solve the problem including:
1) Uninstalled and reinstalled printer driver software.
2) Removed and readded the printer in printer setup utility
3) Reinstalled the whole operating system (Tiger) and installed all the updates.
4) Then it occured to me to test the printer using other user accounts in my computer and it works fine on other accounts! So the problem is just in my user account!
I see that in the month view I can choose to NOT show the time. How do I get it to print like this?

I produce a very nice letter and print it. Then, I want to print an envelope. In WordPerfect, you go to format > envelope > and an envelope with the addresses is formatted. I couldn't find anything like it in iPages. So, how do you format an envelope in iPages?

The item just sits in the printing queue forever while it says "Looking for printer".
And the status button on the printer never actually flashes like it did before when we'd print something.
We have not changed any settings recently, it's connected to our TC's network.
Before we could only print if we were connected to that network also,
But now it doesn't seem to work at all either way.
We just reset it to factory settings, re-entered the info for the network to connect to,
and it's still not working... does anyone know why?

When I print the fonts that come out are very small. I have tried everything but nothing works. How come I don't get a what you see is what you get page?
I have iPhoto '08 or '09. On my PC I had Elements and using that I could print 4 pictures on one 8 1/2 X 11 sheet. I would start by choosing the pixs, editing them and sizing them to fit 1/4 of the sheet. Then I would create a blank white sheet, drag the 4 pixs over and position them on the blank sheet. I would then print that sheet. Can I do that using iPhoto?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I try and print an AppleWorks document, instead of the expected black text it comes out as pale grey.
When I do a print preview it is displayed as black, and when I create a PDF from the appleworks document it prints out perfectly.
Does anyone have any idea what might be going on in the attached image below? This is how a PDF file exported from InDesign is printing. It is not displaying like this at all on the screen. The frame around the photo is an EPS file layered on top of the photo. It views fine, and prints fine except for 2 photos.
All the photos print fine, except for 2 of them which have these odd triangles on them. The image is a scan of the printed file. Again, it does not appear when I view the PDF on screen, only when it's printed. If I remove the border/EPS, it will print fine. But I'd like to use the border, so I'd like to know what the problem is.
I print my business cards from Word, using my Macbook. I use the Avery Ivory Matte business card stock, and really like the results. I like my design and have been using it for years. Lately, something is up: the cards come out dull. I've done this across several different printers, so I don't think it is the printer. I have a new one now.
I tried using new cards, same deal; comes out faded and dull when it used to be bright and vivid. Could this actually be the Word document itself?
It appears that one can only print name or company name, not both, in address book mailing label.

Keynote does it, except it makes them all super small. Powerpoint handles this with no problem. So im totally stomped on this. It seems like the old Keynote did this no problem.
