I recently installed Photoshop CS5 on my Macbook Pro and when I went to install my Nik Software Plug-ins I got a message that said it cant locate the proper location for the filters to be installed to. I didnt have this problem when I had Photoshop CS4 on the same computer

View 1 Replies View Relatedi watch tv through a website called tvunetworks which requires the installation of a video plugin, i have been using it for a while and have had no problems until today.Im not particularly tech savvy but had the bright idea of upgrading to snow leopard without doing any research and instantly, my plugins do not work any more.
I have tried reinstalling the plugin, but no matter what i do the player still shows up as a question mark and safari prompts me to install the plugin. I have also tried reverting safari to 32 bit but the browser just crashes when i load videos.
Just wondering anyone run into any problem after installed Safari 4.0.5? I use igoogle as Homepage, after I upgraded to 4.0.5 the google mail gadget don't work anymore, when i click on mail it won't go to quick view for Gmail and if I click on the Google Mail in the tap on the left-hand side it's work but bottom half of the mails screen or half of the email it's missing..Anyone having the same problem? I try to find 4.0.4 to download but I cant find anywhere still has it..

Well this little genius plug-in avoids all that by scanning your email message and if it picks up that you wanted to attach something it pops up a warning before you send off the message. It works very well and has saved me a few times...
I installed a copy of the Waves audio plugins into Final Cut Pro 5 to try them out, but no longer want them... and I'm having trouble getting rid of them completely. I deleted the actual Waves plugins folder and the Waves preferences (and everything else spotlight found that had to do with them)... but still when I open FCP it asks me where the Waves plugins had gone. The problem is, I get an error message like this for every single plugin and I have to hit OK on each one. So now whenever I open FCP I have to close about 20 error messages before it finishes loading.
I just finished deleting the entire Final Cut Studio and all associated preference files and re-installing the entire thing�but the damn thing still asks where the Waves plugins are when I open it! Does anyone know where I can delete the file that's telling FCP to look for these plugins?
I've just got a new phone and im having trouble syncing it to my macbook. Normally it's just a case of getting the plugin and ar she blows but according to the internet the new isync has disabled most of the old plugins. I know I can get them with nova media but I don't really want to spend more money on it... Does anyone know of a method to make plugins work again or know of anywhere I could get one? Actually, while were on the subject, does anyone have a clue why apple updated isync, removed half the phones and disabled loads of plugins for seemingly no reason??? just me and my mad rants

I can't access my homebanking website (it uses Safari). When I try to, the website says I don't have Java Installed (it was working till last week). If I access Java test page, it says Java is working good. If I access my homebanking with Firefox, it runs OK.

I've pushed harder than should be necessary to try and set the memory in the slot. Its in there. When I turn my macbook on it goes to my log on screen. From there my keyboard and track pad do not work. It wont let me do anything. I can't type my password or move the cursor...? I'm completely lost!

I have a MacBook Pro 17 ( two years old maybe) and just upgraded to Lion. I can do the pinching part of the new trackpad Lion coolness but not the scrolling.
