View 1 Replies View Relatedi watch tv through a website called tvunetworks which requires the installation of a video plugin, i have been using it for a while and have had no problems until today.Im not particularly tech savvy but had the bright idea of upgrading to snow leopard without doing any research and instantly, my plugins do not work any more.
I have tried reinstalling the plugin, but no matter what i do the player still shows up as a question mark and safari prompts me to install the plugin. I have also tried reverting safari to 32 bit but the browser just crashes when i load videos.
Why are there no listed web sites in the plug-in section of the manage plug-ins section of safari preferences?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am wanting to connect my macbook pro to a recording interface via ADAT over an optical Toslink connection, however, from what I've read on here it looks like that is not possible as the MBP does not natively recognize ADAT data on the optical connection, only S/PDIF.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMost plug-ins don't work on Mail 4.2 in Snow Leopard.
I am using three at the moment that are all working great and they are all free :
1. WideMail is a way to view mail in columns (Ala entourage) it also allows for more customization of the message line:
2. Herald works like growl on steroids you can view your mail as it comes in and scroll through the whole message it also allows you reply without having to revert to mail and I think it looks quite good too.
3 Attachment Scanner How many times have you sent an email promising attachment only to forget to attach the document you want to send? Well this little genius plug-in avoids all that by scanning your email message and if it picks up that you wanted to attach something it pops up a warning before you send off the message. It works very well and has saved me a few times...

I am running Creative Suite CS5 and noticed all plugins will not work, as CS5 works natively in 64 bit. I have tried opening in 32 bit and the beachball of slow goes on indefinitely and will not open in 32? I can still use plugins in CS4 then export product into CS5, but a bit of a long winded route...anyone else?
I installed a copy of the Waves audio plugins into Final Cut Pro 5 to try them out, but no longer want them... and I'm having trouble getting rid of them completely. I deleted the actual Waves plugins folder and the Waves preferences (and everything else spotlight found that had to do with them)... but still when I open FCP it asks me where the Waves plugins had gone. The problem is, I get an error message like this for every single plugin and I have to hit OK on each one. So now whenever I open FCP I have to close about 20 error messages before it finishes loading.
I just finished deleting the entire Final Cut Studio and all associated preference files and re-installing the entire thingbut the damn thing still asks where the Waves plugins are when I open it! Does anyone know where I can delete the file that's telling FCP to look for these plugins?

I got them here: [URL] and they installed like any normal software via a .dmg file. I've tried finding them via AppCleaner, but have been unsuccessful.

Are there any plugins or something like that where you can view web pages in Internet Explorer?
I have both Safari and Firefox. Firefox has an IE view add-on, but it doesn't work with Max OSX. I don't want to have to run Boot Camp or similar product to run windows. I just want to see what web pages look like in IE when I am coding.
I just noticed today when i was trying to use this, did Snow leopard erase all my finder automator plugins? I used to beable to right click images on desktop and using automator menu rename and convert images but now its all gone.

After igniting a hailstorm of controversy over its intent to drop HTML5's H.264 support from its Chrome browser, Google has reaffirmed its intent to push its own open WebM video codec via Flash-like plugins for Internet Explorer and Safari users. The reason: Google wants to ship free platforms without incurring external licensing fees. Google's Mike Jazayeri detailed the company's new push behind WebM by writing in a detailed blog posting that the groups involved in developing the HTML5 video distribution standard "are at an impasse. There is no agreement on which video codec should be the baseline standard

how the top sites feature actually works on the new safari. I've been using the new beta for the last week or so and it seems like the websites that appear in the top sites section are almost entirely random ones selected from my history. Some pages that i've visited once for only minutes appear right at the front of the list. I am failing to see any pattern based on popularity.
