I've set up some alarms that are scheduled to show a message, but the messages only show two lines of what I've written. I want to see everything. How can I do this, is it even possible?
If I can't do this in iCal, does anyone know of an app that will do the job? Something where I can schedule messages to pop-up on a reoccurring bases.
I am looking for an Application that I can type and send instant text messages to my friend who has a PC, and he can then send back a text reply message , but if possible not MSN / Yahoo Etc, does any one know of a simple instant Text messaging application we both could use , we don't need voice or video just the ability to send and receive instant text messages to each other .
View 11 Replies View RelatedI can't launch iMovie '08. When I try to run the app, the icon appears on the dock, but no screen or message error is shown. It just hangs, and I must do "force quit". This only happens with my user, as I've tested with other users on the same machine and iMovie seems to be running OK. I've cleaned my user cache in order to solve any problem with that, but it didn't work at all. I have installed the last actualization (iMovie 7.1.4). I doesn't seem to be an interference with iPhoto, as other users have experienced, since I've deleted com.apple.iPhoto.plist and the problem still persists.

I had problems with my Apple Mail crashing and the only fix we could try after spending quite a long time on searching for the proble was to delete all my accounts and re-introduce them one at a time. But I didn't realise that would delete all my preferences and signatures
So I am having to start from fresh. I can get my text for message subject lines and the mailboxes to the size I want BUT if i have digests from groups the text is still tiny. I know I can enlarge using cmd+ but I have to do that for each message. But I can;t find the preferences

Just bought a new 27" screen iMac. The menu bar and drop down menu text is much to small for me to see without leaning close to the screen. how to customize the text to a larger size. This is an issue for any program I open.

Is it just me but has 9.1 update brought a longer Song Length Bar (The bit in-between the two times showing how far through a song you are)
I just looked at it 10 minutes ago and it seemed noticeably different.
I wanted a visual representation of all my videos, regardless of format, in iTunes so I've used a combination of QT reference files for AVIs and placeholder M4Vs for DVD rips. To get the placeholders I Handbraked a 7-second clip of a DVD to M4V and applied metadata. This works to get the coverart in iTunes but the minor annoyance to my OCD nature is that the track length shows as 7 seconds (see image). Is there anyway to hack this information somewhere so I can show the actual runtime?

Here's where Automator needs to come in:
When an email with the subject keyword is received, have Safari open the URL contained in the body of the message.
Copy all of the text from the opened URL.
Compose a new email message and paste in the text copied from the web page, and email it back to the original sender.
Close Safari.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSome of the emails I receive from friends show a placeholder for an image. The placeholder has the filename (example.jpg) in the top left hand corner. In the centre of the placeholder is a tiny blue square with a question mark. Is there a way to display the pics in the email along with the text. Funny stories are not quite the same without the pics! I can preview & download the images with no problem. So it looks like the images are there, its just that mail doesn't want to display them sometimes?

I did a search within Spotlight with my one friends that I email a lot, put his name in, and up popped 162 emails that I had sent to him since March 2008. How can these emails be deleted so they don't show up in Spotlight? Should I uncheck the boxes that say Store, messages on the server? Regardless, this would not cause the emails to show up/not show up within Spotlight on my Mac, would it?

I used blank pages for all the movie pages and each one has a 320x240 quicktime and a 320x180 wmv. Can you put movies on blank pages or do you have to use the movies pages templates provided by IWeb to play movies?
View 2 Replies View RelatedOn itunes, I have my account/library and my wife has hers. For some reason her library disappeared. Her folder is still in the music folder along with mine, but her music, apps will not show up in itunes and her account name also is gone when opening itunes with option c I can see both accounts and when I choose hers and itunes opens everything is blank if that makes sense.
She is afraid to do a sync because she is afraid she'll loose the apps, music and other items from her itouch. I don't want to mess with it because I'm nervous about messing my library up as well trying to restore hers. Is there anything I can do to get her library to load in itunes and not distrurb mine and resync her itouch and my iphone? I didn't see any answers to this specific 2nd account issue and I hope the description of the issue is clear.
Is it me or did you never see a "dot" in the mini month view within Ical when you had an event on a day? I have it on the iphone on month view but I could have sword that I had this on my Mac?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI cannot find my iPhoto Library file. I had almost 17,000 pictures and now when I start iPhoto it shows an empty window to choose a new library or use an existent. But there is no library anymore under my pictures folder. I used Data Rescue 3 and Virtual Lab do not find pictures in my HD. How can I spotlight or find iPhoto Library in case I moved it somewhere else?
