I reside in Spain and I've recently opened a joint account with a US resident here in Los Angeles at Charles Schwab bank.The financial consultant told us it's possible to deposit checks into schwab account through an app for iphone [URL]I've tried to download but it appears the following window: "your application has not been able to complete" and "The article you requested is not available at this time in Spanish Store, but is available in the U.S. Store. Click Change Store to view this article". If I click to change the Store from the Spanish to the American store, I have to fill the data but my ID apple is not working on the "foreign" store. The internet i've got is vergin so normally is very fast.Downstairs where we have a desktop computer connected to the D-link is working as normal.

I told myself not to do it. Don't update the Safari software to 4.0, you know how they always mess up these things. And yet, per accident I did. Of course Safari 4.0 doesn't work. Every time I open it, it shuts down. iChat also doesn't work anymore, and even the Dashboard shuts down every now and then. In addition, the computer feels incredibly slow. I can't download rapidshare links on iGetter anymore and everything just feels wrong. Countless threads have been opened on this matter with a variety of different problems for different people. Yet I have not read a proper solution. I have seen all kinds of technical solutions being offered but I'm not a computer wiz and I do not know the terms they use. I just want to go back to Safari 3.2 or at least the one before the 4.0 But I read that deleting Safari 4 and reinstalling 3.2 won't work because of a certain webkit that got installed with it, making it impossible to go back.

The first was PerformanceOptimizer which shrunk my screen and "informed me about the dangers of viruses". Then it force downloaded itself and my downloads stack showed me the .exe file. I removed and ran clamXav. Now the same thing happened but today it called itself Antivirus 2009. I force quit Safari and nothing downloaded to my stack. Is this how others here notice these attempts that are aimed at PC users?
View 6 Replies View RelatedWill someone clever please tell us newbies how to fix the problem: I have been using Filezilla (before that, Cyberduck) to upload files to my older style HTML website. I just installed Lion and there is a big cross sign through the latest Filezilla icon saying "PowerPC programs don't work under Lion." I read posts from people saying it works, other posts talking about another kind of FTP on the Mac itself, and lots of talk of SFTP and command line stuff.
For we who just use these apps by pushing buttons and moving on when they work, can you list step by step what we need to do to get Filezilla working again, or point to a different program to download? If I need to go back and reinstall my entire previous Snow Leopard machine from my bootable clone, tell me that and I'll do it. I have a long lost of to-do's and can't spend days experimenting with clean installs (however you do those).

Does anyone know a program I can download that will convert avi to mpeg? Everything I've found so far is usually only a free trial. I've tried MPEG streamclip, but it doesn't recognize avi and the conversion is screwed up.
