I purchased a few songs on my my Mac and they are working fine. One of the purchased songs is somehow showing up in the "more - downloads" part of iTunes on my iPhone 4s. It is stuck with the message "waiting". How do I remove it from my iPhone?

Since updating to iOS5.1 I cannot download any new Apps or updates through my iphone.
I can update / add via itunes on my mac and sync fine. I have rebooted iphoneI have backed up and resync'ed with itunes several timesI have just been very patient in the hope that some server issue might be at play ... but after hours the downloaded apps are stil in a "waiting.." stateSame situation with News stand publications - all just "waiting"

I can't use iTunes 10 to delete podcasts from my iPhone 4S (iOS 5.0.1) when it is hooked up to my Macbook Air (OS 10.6.8).The edit menu shows the Delete command greyed out, and using the backspace key has no effect. I know I can delete individual podcasts on the iPhone itself by swiping sideways. I don't want to do that - I want to delete multiple podcasts from the iPhone at once using iTunes. This has been possible with previous versions of iTunes and an iPod, for example. Not sure why it's not working with the iPhone 4S. Wonder if I'm missing something obvious?

I am having a really hard time getting songs off of my iphone. I know that I need to go to itunes and uncheck all of the songs from the "music" tab under where I see my iphone as a device, but it's still not working. I went on other discussion boards on here and read that I should try to uncheck the box to manually manage music and then try to uncheck them again, but now I have my entire itunes library on my phone, even though I unchecked all of the boxes of music that I don't want.

I even unselected all the tones from my phone (in iTunes) then synced (so that nothing transfers). But even then that stubborn ringtone still appears!
My now ex-girlfriend is tied to my itunes accounts and still using my apps. how can i delete her from using them with hooking it back up to the my computer?

I transferred a whole heap of music onto iTunes on my Mac from my old PC, and then made a playlist and synced with my iPhone. As I listened, I deleted almost half these songs (there were 170 songs at first) directly from my iPhone by swiping across and pressing delete. My problem now is, I now have more music I want to add to my phone from iTunes, but I don't want the 85 odd songs that I deleted to be synced back onto the phone.
Is there any way I can make the two devices match up so that the songs on my Mac and not on my iPhone will delete from iTunes? I could always go through manually, but that will be tedious and not something I really want to do.

I would like to delete my iTunes library on my iPhone. It has songs from my daughter's purchases that I cannot for the life of my get off the library, cloud, wherever. I have deleted them in my iMac iTunes library. So after I delete them from my iPhone I will do a sync.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI used to just plug my iPhone 4 (ver. 4.2.1) into my iMac and iTunes (I think) opened with a window showing pictures that were on my iPhone or somehow asked if I wanted to download (upload/import??) the pictures/movies to my iMac. I do not do this often, so I may well be forgetting something in the process. When I plug the iPhone in to the iMac, the first message that pos up is "no camera connected." Then iTunes opens and show my iPhone on left. I cannot find the pictures that I just took on the iPhone though.

I listen to a lot of different types of stuff on my iPhone. One of my favorites has always been audiobooks. Lots of little 5 minute 'songs' that would play in order. It USED to be easy: listen to files in order, then delete them from iTunes as I go along, the next time I charged my phone, boom, all the stuff I was done with was gone. Bookmarking and file management took care of itself. All I had to do was keep my iTunes library neat and orderly.
No more. Now I have to screw around in the phone itself to do anything. This is obtuse and difficult since the larger keyboard and mouse are much easer to use than the tiny touch pad. But, it no longer seems to work.
Is this a feature I can somehow get back or is this part of the new apple scheme of things?
When every I click install in iTunes Store for an app for my iphone it says downloading [apps name] but does not downloads it. This is happening for all apps I want to download.

When I go then to my MacBook and open the album in iTunes (12.0.1.26) on Yosemite, for some reason at least half of the tracks aren't there. When I went to the iTunes store to try and re-download them to my iTunes, it told me that I'd already purchased them, yet it gave me no option to download anywhere that I could see. Basically somehow my iTunes got jacked up.. just the music part of it.. Anyway, they are all songs from my CDs or mp3's, but just as a failsafe, I would like to backup my entire iTunes library to my external hdd.
I would then like to delete all the songs from my iTunes, and from my iPhone. *edit* figure'd out how to remove all the songs from my iphone.. just unchecked all songs and sync'd.. now I just need to backup itunes and delete everything from it, then reput what I want back into itunes and resync.. sweet
After which, I would like to rebuild my iTunes library using my mp3's and CD's and basically start from scratch.. so that this time around I can properly name songs/albums/artwork/etc
Then I want to take this new iTunes library, and fill my iPhone back up with my new Library in Itunes..
so basically I just want to backup my itunes just incase for some reason I cannot find a particular CD or mp3 in my collection.

I have a new iMac on which I used Migration Assistant to migrate all my data from the Time Machine backup of my old iMac. The Mac is running 10.10.1 and my old Mac is running Mavericks, fully updated.Everything went smoothly except for iTunes. Some of the Library did not appear in the new iTunes and of those that did, some of music is not available.
The error message appears.I tried finding the original Library on Time Machine, and copying it back to the new mac. I checked the Library on the old iMac where the backup came from and all works. Various methods suggested on the forums have resulted in most of the Library being listed, but with some random songs and albums still showing the above error message. I can still access my old Mac for the Library if needed. How to get complete Library into the new iTunes?

I've had some problems accessing Safari Internet, which is what I used previously. I can access Internet Explorer, but all web pages are incomplete and jumbled; nor am I able to download anything, including trying to download Safari. My iTunes will not open either, and I cannot view any type of video, using Adobe Flash player. I never used to have any of these issues before. The current Internet setup is At&t Broadband. I am wondering if you might be able to suggest what the problem is, and how to remedy it.
