i'm trying to buy song on itunes but i kept getting YOUR SESSION HAS TIMED OUT TRY AGAIN.

Every time I put the code in for my iTunes gift card, I get the following message:Your session has timed out. Try again. In delving into my accounts, I'm so confused by all the different ID's, email addresses, I've reset (unintentionally) my password more times than I care to remember. My iTunes is a mess; is it possible to delete accounts? I'm ready to delete all and start fresh, but I have such a nice collection of songs that I've purchased.

Everytime I try to use my ITunes,it tells me my session has timed out...

At some point some months ago, I started getting the message. I just need it to go away. I'm not doing anything with the iCloud, I don't care about it. I just want to listen to my iTunes in peace.
A previous respondant to an earlier thread about this problem on devices with Safari said they fixed the problem by going into iTunes and "unsubscribing or deactivating" the "iTunes in the Cloud" option; but I don't have that option when I go to my settings. I can see the "iTunes in the Cloud" section; but my only option given there is "Manage Devices", which leads me to a screen where my only option is to sever the connection between my APPLE ID and my iPhone, which I don't want to do. And for the record, I don't have iTunes Match, and have no interest in it.
Most of my attempted fixes use only my MacBook, OS X 10.7.3 (current Lion), iTunes is 10.5.3(3) 64-bit (current version). Phone is AT&T 4S, 16 GB v. 5.0.1 (9A406, current version).I have used iCloud match on this phone, but now have it shut off. When I use iTunes to view the music on the iPhone, I see 1864 songs. iTunes sees this as 1864 items, 5 days, zero bytes). All are streams. All are greyed out. I can't delete them. I can't overwrite them becuase I can't sync.
This problem is on every computer I have tried. 4 different computers, all running either Lion, Snow Leopard, Windows 746x or Windows 8. I have tried the following: Reset all settings on iPhone, then restored from iCloudRemove all applications and settings, then restored phone from iCloudremoved iTunes, reinstalled (windows only)Turned off iTunes match on Mac, Windows and iPhoneRemoved all device support for iPhone, then re-installed itRestarted iPhone, Mac and PCReinstalled Windows from scratchTried a Mac that had never synced this phone before.Tried new installation of OSX (install Snow Leopard, upgrade to Lion)Tried DIAGNOSTICS on Windows iTunes (all passed, including Device Connectivity, then it reported 'sync failed to start')Tried one post that insisted my iCloud settings on my Mac and in the iPhone control panel needed to match, so I tried that too.
I have been trying to add my podcast to iTunes for several days now. I keep getting an error, "Your session has timed out. Please try again".

I am trying to download a digital copy for Lord of the Rings, but after I type in the code, iTunes immediatly says that my session timed out. It doesn't matter where I try it or on what computer/operating system, it always happens! What is the deal??

I recently purchased the Bluray for "Haywire" that included a digital copy. I have followed the directions for download into iTunes included w/ the Bluray that directs me to www.lionsgatedigitalcopy.com/redeem. I have entered the code on multiple occasions w/ the same result - Session Timed Out in iTunes. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I have contacted Lionsgate support and they say they are not distributing "Haywire" in the US and therefore cannot help.

whenever I try to purchase something from iTunes, I get the message "Your session has timed out". It does not matter how quickly I try to type the security questions either. Is there a setting I should change?

So I just redeemed a gift-card to my account and excited to buy some music I've been wanting to purchase. I click buy song, I agreed to the terms of use, and a this lovely little message appears "your session has timed out. try again" I tried this over and over and still the same message. I quit iTunes, shut down my computer and still the same message. What's going on? I just want my music!

I recently updated to Lion. So far the only thing that really annoys me is that every time I open Safari it opens to the last page(s) I visited. I want it to open to a blank page. For the life of me - I cannot figure out how to get it to do this.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to find out if multi-session DVDs are possible in Leopard with Toast.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI know that a lot of people already asked this for older OS. But I was wondering if it is possible to have a windows computer connect to a mac without interruption to the user that is logged in an account on the mac. I just want my windows computers to access the mac remotely without logging the current user out. I don't want to telnet or ssh I want to remote control it. I am wondering if it will be a graphical user interface.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just bought a new Samsung USB DVD drive for $50 that is capable of writing & reading in every conceivable disk mode. However, Tiger's Disk Utility really doesn't support writing & reading multi-session (SAO) disks. Does anyone know any of any freeware DVD disk burning software that supports multi-session disk burning & reading?
I recently installed a current model DVD drive in my brother's Toshiba 2100 CDT (vintage 2000) running Windows 2000 Pro & got a program called CDBurnerXP that writes & reads multi-session disks & now I'm frustrated that I can't do it on my iMac or my wife's MacBook both running Tiger 10.4.11.
What's the matter with Apple, don't they know there is such things as DVDs . I have quite a lot of DVDs from my day's with a PC, but now I have a iMac I don't seem to be able to use them except for 1 time recording. Say for accounting , if I use the disc utility I cannot use them more than once and the same with Roxio Toast. If the backup is only 39mb that is an awful waste of a DVD to only use it once. Alternatively am I wrong with my approach's to use more than once?

Though I'm really used at being a Mac user... to be honest, I don't think I've ever tried to burn multi session a CD or a DVD.
Now, I really need to do it, but the DVD in question won't be full after the first recording...
how can one use 'DIsk Utility' to burn a multi session CD or DVD with personal documents?
I've found many tutorials over the internet, but they cover old version of OSX. I presume that with OS X Lion things might be different?
I haven't set any time to expire session but the computer ask for it after hal an hour...

View 1 Replies View Relatedthis has happened to me three times in about four months: I'll be in the middle of surfing the 'Net (I use Firefox) and I have plenty of battery juice and, suddenly, I get a blank screen. No warning, no error message, no "I'm shutting down now," nothing. Just a black screen and my computer has shut down. I press the power button and boot it back up and get the message from FF "Your last session crashed. Would you like to restore your session?" I press "Yes." Everything's fine again. What's causing this???
View 7 Replies View RelatedMy nephew is the cutest thing ever and occasionally I facetime with his mother (my cousin) and he'll occasionally leave messages for me. I plan to record these short moments via facetime but so far there really isn't a proper app to do it except for using screen video capture and the only good one I found was imcapture but I find it very pricey. Is there any way for me to record facetime besides pointing a camera at the screen/screen capture/imcapture?
