My ipad has a frozen iTunes screen! How to fix? "support" was worthless

I've had the new macbook air just two days now. Turned it on this morning, used it for like 5 minutes and the screen just started flickering, and the whole machine just froze on me! Had to do a system reset, but I'm a little concerned after spending over a grand on this macbook! Has anyone else experienced this? I'm actually thinking about returning the machine..

I have the Australin app called Ninenewsbreak and the app works well on my iphone4 BUT the sound won't work on my iPad.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled it 3 times and still no sound. This app is for the iPhone and iPad according to the advert in the app store. The sound works great on the iPad for other apps downloaded.Â

I just got my macbook pro in march. Yesterday, the screen began to occasionally freeze (but other things like audio would continue to play) and slowly get brighter and brighter until it either turned completely white with a few small black stripes, or revert back to the regular screen and function normally. It has been happening more and more frequently recently.

2MHz PPC G5 iMac OS 10.4.11. Several attempts were made to login with wrong password. The iMac is now frozen on the login screen. Entries can be made in the Username and Password fields, but there is no response to "return" or "cmd" keys. The action buttons (sleep, login, etc.) are grayed out. Power button only puts machine to sleep, and it wakes up at frozen login screen.

My almost 3 year old MBP shows a full screen of artifacts like horizontal lines with blue and pink boxes. It did it while simply browsing the web. It had a message in the center of the screen that said to push the power button to power off in several languages.
I powered off the computer. Tried to restart it and on the start up screen the Apple appears in the center of the screen with the same pink and blue boxes in it and the spinning symbol below is stuck and the computer will not start up.
Any ideas on what my problem is? I have about 2 months of Apple Care left.
I have tried to install leopard on my Macbook Pro. It just takes me to the gray boot screen with the apple logo in the center and the circle status bars. It won't leave this screen. Stayed there all last night. Every time I reboot it goes here and won't advance. I can't eject the disk either.
View 4 Replies View Relatedmy MBP is really screwing up these days. Basically the best way I can describe it is that randomly once in awhile (no matter what I'm doing, usually surfing the net) the screen flickers a few times, then most of it turns black (except usually for a small part on top that stays on whatever it was displaying before). The section between the part that stayed the same and the bottom is sort of "multicolored".
The computer does not respond to anything except holding the power button down for 5 seconds until it shuts off. If I try to adjust brightness or sound level, nothing happens. Anyway, I took it in to apple and they claimed it was the motherboard, so they replaced it. But today I had the problem again! What else could it even be? Any chance its the RAM/screen/hard drive?
Ive been having some issues with my monitors going black during working, it happens on the mac side but more often on through bootcamp running windows 7.
It also has been getting a frozen start up screen at the apple logo. All the times it does start up i do hear the start up chime. I have tried to reset pram and smc but that does not seem to solve the problem, Ive also run a check using techtool pro v6 and it has come up with no issues.Â
Ive recently upgraded my graphics card to the nvidia quadro 4000, ive read the issues with card in the past but since the lion release its become better supported i thought not sure if thats the problem or something with the mac pro itself, i have updates the cards drivers for both windows and mac. Im currently running 3 OS, OSX 10.6.8, Lion and windows 7 (bootcamp)Â

we have a 2 month old macbook pro. We have just done a system update, and the screen has been stuck on grey for more than 45 mins now. I did this update a few days ago on my own MBP and there was no grey screen issue. Is it safe to restart the mac, or does this update just take a while on some computers?Â
View 2 Replies View RelatedSuddenly on start up from sleep mode I have prior windows of my email client and my browser (Entourage and Chrome) frozen. I have both of these set as start up items and new versions will open and are operative but the old windows for both remain like a screen shot. Along the menu bar is a 'ghost' image-a menu bar in faded gray and slightly blurred- behind the exiting one that is operable. I have repaired permissions, re set pram...it will not go away or move. I am on mcp OS 10.7.3. Have not installed anything newm in last few days.

I have an early 2008 version of the 17" MacBook Pro. During the process of uploading photos to iPhoto, the screen froze and pink and green pixels appeared. I shut down by the off button and upon on turning it back on found the screen as shown below. The apple appears and then the clock spins for a moment then freezes. I cannot get any further.Â
I've tried booting in Safe Mode and other options I've read when trying to boot but to no avail.Â
Someone said I need to run the AHT but as this was purchased from a friend, I don't have the installation CD's. I've found a DMG file of the AHT but am completely at a loss as to what to do with this.Â
I just have my mac pro(Lion 10.7.3) updated today, but after the update and restart it gets frozen every time i turn on iTunes(10.5.3).
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy iMac G5 froze. I restarted it manually, but it kept freezing on a blue screen without loading the OS. It can start up fine in safe mode, but that's it! I've tried repairing permissions and zapping the PRAM.
Finally I resorted to an Archive & Install. That didn't work so I did a clean install but that didn't help either. After having done everything under the sun to it to get it to work, it will still only start up in safe mode. I even tried starting up off each of my two external fire wire drives with no luck (it froze on the fire wire screen with both drives - a Maxtor and a Western Digital). I am thinking that something on the mother board has died so that normal booting is prevented but safe mode booting is allowed.
I noticed my notebook running a little slower than usual so I took the usual steps, without much luck. I then verified and repaired disk permissions in Disk Utility. Tried to use disk repair but got a message that the disk was damaged and I needed to boot from an install disc and run Disk Utility from it. I put the disc in, chose it as my boot disc in Preferences, and ever since once I power up all I get is the chime and a blank grey dead screen. proceed or at the very least remove the disc from the SuperDrive
