View 1 RepliesCan't add albums in library to iPhone.
View 1 RepliesMy IPhone has a large number of albums on it and not all of those albums are in my desktop iTunes Music Library. How do I move albums from the iPhone to iTunes or sync it so the music on the iPhone ends up in the iTunes Music Library? This happened when my desktop went down and I ran iTunes on my laptop and loaded music on to the laptop iTunes Library then onto the iPhone.
View 1 Replies View RelatedHaving transferred my iTunes library from my old PC to my new Mac. Many of the albums will not play because they are not authorized. Authorization lists very old email addresses of which I do not have the passwords or, in fact, access to the email websites.

How do i remove music albums from my iphone?
View 1 Replies View RelatedHow do I transfer/copy photos from my Iphoto albums to my Iphone ?
View 2 Replies View RelatedBefore, in iTunes I could drag several albums, one after the other, over to my iPhone for copying. iTunes would just add the subsequent albums to a growing queue behind the scenes, happily copying until everything was done. Now, for some reason, when I am in the midst of copying one album and drag a second over to copy, iTunes stops copying the first album and begins copying the second; it's as if the hidden queue has disappeared. So I'm left with a bunch of truncated, random songs off each album I've tried to copy.

There are some incomplete albums and some that are not even there. When i transfer it says that I can't because i'm not authorized when clearly my Computer is authorized.

I just bought two cd's; Tangled Soundtrack and Frozen soundtrack. And then i ripped them into iTunes in Alac format, as i always do.
In itunes the two albums are seperated, and shown as two albums as all my other music albums.
But on my iPhone, in the ipod app, it misxes the two albums in one, and just calls that one album Tangled.
E.g. :
Song 1 Cd 1
Song 1 Cd 2
Song 2 Cd 1
Song 2 Cd 2
and so on.
Why does it do that? Is there some sorting wrong in Itunes, or is there a setting on the iphone i have missed? I use the newest version of iTunes, but i have iOs 6.1.3 on my iphone. And I'm not updating the iPhone..

I have a new-to-me MacBook (running Lion) and I just downloaded all my music into iTunes. I had been sync'd with an old PC laptop previously. If I choose to sync my iPhone (4S) with iTunes on the MacBook, will it delete my apps and data (as the warning in iTunes leads me to believe)? I do use iCloud backup on the iPhone, and I've got all kinds of apps installed (and arranged to my liking). What's the best way to have my music sync with the MacBook without having to reinstall my apps?

i Have an iPhone 6 (128Gb) with over 60gb of music synced and I have noticed that whenever I make several changes on my iTunes (genre changes, files directory changes, etc) to multiple songs and then try to sync it to my phone it gets stuck on the last step until I'm forced to unplugged the phone (trying to stop the sync doesn'to work).
Once I reconnect my phone and the backup process starts again all my music files now appear as "other" and thus ITunes now tries to sync all my music again causing an error message stating that I do not have enough capacity..
i Have tried to troubleshoot this issue to isolate the problem but with no success. I was just forced to reinstall all my apps and music once again and I am extremely annoyed since it happens quite often (since I do end up editing large amount of songs on a constat basis). after making all those changes on ITunes i always make sure ITunes recognizes those files. I try to close and open iTunes to ensure it updates its library and all the files' links. All songs do appear and play normally on iTunes. Everything works on iTunes but then when I plug in my phone all new or modified songs appear grayed out with the circle to the left (indicating they will be synced, but it never happens)

I just upgraded from a iPhone 5 to 5S. I upgraded the storage and am trying to move all my songs from my iTunes library on my mac to my phone. When I go to play them on my phone, they're all in there, but have the cloud w/ the down arrow and won't play. I try to download them, but it says my iTunes match is expired. I have them stored on my computer, have tried syncing all, checked all the individual songs, albums, and playlists, and tried dragging them over.

View 2 Replies View RelatedOk so i am trying to figure out the best way to do this over 3g. I want to purchase a WD My book live to store my photos, videos, and all of my music. I know that I can remap my itunes to find the files while i am on the same wifi network.
What i am trying to figure out is can i remotely access and play my music from the WD My book live? Basically by passing my laptop. Is the best why to do this is with a VPN? If so what will let you access an external NAS drive, and run a itunes app?
Is this possible to do or is more pain then its worth?
I will buy a new Mac (iMac or MBP) soon to replace my current iMac G5. What is the quickest and easiest way to transfer files including my iTunes library & iPhone apps & safari bookmarks to the new Mac?

I had to rebuild my iTunes library and now I'm going through the process of getting my iPhone syncing again. When I select the playlist that I want to sync with my computer from within iTunes and hit the sync button I get the message: The iPhone “x's iPhone” is synced with another iTunes library. Do you want to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library? An iPhone can be synced with only one iTunes library at a time. Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this iPhone with the contents of this iTunes library.

When I plug my iPhone 4 into my Mac to sync, iTunes does not appear to detect my iPhoto library. Activating the "Sync Photos from 'iPhoto'" option does not allow me to select individual albums, faces, etc. to sync. Attempting to sync result in the error "iTunes cannot sync photos to the iPhone 'Kyle Cunanan's iPhone' because your iPhoto Library could not be found. Open iPhoto to create or update your iPhoto Library." Opening iPhoto shows no problems. All my photos are still there, just as I've left them.

Foolishly, i excluded my ~/music folder from my Time Machine backup, and when i restored following a recent system drive meltdown, i lost all of my iTunes library files - the .itl, the Previous iTunes Libraries, the .xml, everything. However, my media was on a different drive, which is still spinning. Additionally, i had my library synched to my iPhone, and i had Matched what iTunes could Match to the cloud. So i have all of my media locally, i have most of my media in the cloud and or on my phone, and i have most of my playlists in the cloud or on the phone. What is the best way for me to put my data back into iTunes and return to normalcy? In that i have an empty library right now, i have turned synching off on my phone. What i most want to get back is playlists. What i secondly want to get back are playcounts and ratings.
