ITunes For Mac :: Library Not Showing WAV Files In Their Correct Albums When Opened?
Jun 30, 2014I use a Mac Mini to launch iTunes with library saved in an external drive. Now my Mac Mini retires and I replaced it with a new one. I launch iTunes on the new Mac and reconnect to the library in the external drive.Â
How come my wav files are shown in correct albums in old Mac but shown in unknown albums in new Mac? What must I transfer from the old mac to new mac show wav files in their right places?Â
I have tried importing the library xml file but it didn't work.Â

Oct 24, 2010My IPhone has a large number of albums on it and not all of those albums are in my desktop iTunes Music Library. How do I move albums from the iPhone to iTunes or sync it so the music on the iPhone ends up in the iTunes Music Library? This happened when my desktop went down and I ran iTunes on my laptop and loaded music on to the laptop iTunes Library then onto the iPhone.

Usually I just stream my cloud songs without downloading them, but the other day when I opened my laptop they were gone. My phone still has all my iCloud songs but my Mac doesn't, also I have "Check for Available Downloads" checked, but it didn't work.Â

ITunes For Mac :: Sorts Two Music Albums Wrong On IPhone
Jun 4, 2014I just bought two cd's; Tangled Soundtrack and Frozen soundtrack. And then i ripped them into iTunes in Alac format, as i always do.Â
In itunes the two albums are seperated, and shown as two albums as all my other music albums.Â
But on my iPhone, in the ipod app, it misxes the two albums in one, and just calls that one album Tangled.
E.g. :Â
Song 1 Cd 1
Song 1 Cd 2
Song 2 Cd 1
Song 2 Cd 2Â
and so on. Â
Why does it do that? Is there some sorting wrong in Itunes, or is there a setting on the iphone i have missed? I use the newest version of iTunes, but i have iOs 6.1.3 on my iphone. And I'm not updating the iPhone..

Aug 21, 2009I have transferred my itunes music on to my external HD. The music is there and that is fine. I then deleted the old itunes folder from my actual HD. I have now wanted to access the music on the external HD, and have attempted to select the new music file location on the external HD via the itunes/preferences/advanced window,selected the new file path and it will just not show in itunes!

ITunes :: Manually Synced Music Not Showing Up Under Artist
Feb 2, 2012When I manually add songs to my iphone 4 from my iTunes library they are not showing up on my phone under when I go to the artist. Oddly, when I search for the song title the song will come up and it plays, and it shows the artist name correctly when it is playing. I updated both iTunes and the phone. I've done a reset. I've deleted the songs in question from the phone and then re-added them, only to have the same problem.
This problem doesn't happen with every song I add, but it always happens to the same songs. When I sync the phone, I can find them in the phone window of iTunes and they're there correctly sorted by artist (and play fine)! These songs are CD imports (not iTunes purchases). I have "manually manage music" on, and iCoud is off.

Apr 15, 2012IÂ have just bought a MacBook air and am trying to copy the music files from my old windows pc onto the new pc. I have used drag+drop and by using the add to library instruction from the file drop down. I can see the folders and files in finder but they do not appear in inlayer under the music folder. This folder is empty but I have transferred purchased music from an ipod which is visible and playable. To confuse things further, all my applications have been moved over?

ITunes :: Purchased Music Not In Library
Jun 8, 20121) Up until today (6/8/12) my purchases would show up in my library after downloading. After purchasing some songs today, I did not see them in the library, but I did find them under 'Purchases'. And the little iCloud icon seems to be 'working'. I have the most recent iTunes (10.6.1), scanned for viruses, and haven't been doing anything differently. I am using a 13" MacBook Pro (early 2011) with Lion v10.7.4 installed.
2) iTunes usually shows a song as 'Purchased' in the Store if you already downloaded it (I assume to prevent duplicate downloading). But a few minutes after purchasing some music, the Store still shows it as available for purchase.
The only thing I have done recently is clean out some cache files in my browser (using Intego). Could this be the culprit? If so, how do I remedy these issues?

Jul 5, 2012I've been reading dozens of different questions and answers on this forum in regards to this topic However, none of them are speaking directly to what I am trying to accomplish.I recently moved my iTunes library from my internal hard drive to an external hard drive. The transition was fine. (I did have this same problem described below in the beginning. However, it solved itself somehow when I sent it to locate the files.) It was a temporary fix. I needed to upgrade my internal hard drive but until I did that I wanted to be able to add more music or movies etc. I recently installed my new internal hard drive. I cloned my old internal hard drive and the transition was relatively smooth However, today when I moved my iTunes library from my external (temporary) hard drive to my new internal hard drive I came upon a problem.
Every time I double click on a song it says:
I then have to go into my files and find the song. (Which is no big deal for one song, but for over 3300 songs? Doesn't sound like a good time.
