ITunes :: Unable To Let Queue Several Albums To Copy To IPhone?
Mar 30, 2012Before, in iTunes I could drag several albums, one after the other, over to my iPhone for copying. iTunes would just add the subsequent albums to a growing queue behind the scenes, happily copying until everything was done. Now, for some reason, when I am in the midst of copying one album and drag a second over to copy, iTunes stops copying the first album and begins copying the second; it's as if the hidden queue has disappeared. So I'm left with a bunch of truncated, random songs off each album I've tried to copy.Â

MacBook Pro :: Transfer Music - Pictures And Preserve Playlists And Photo Albums
May 11, 2010I finally bit the bullet on a new i7 15" MBP today to replace my dying 3.5 year old MB. I want to transfer my music and pictures from MB and also preserve my playlists and photo albums. I currently have a TimeCapsule as well. My current MB is "faulty" so I don't really want to copy over the drive per se, just the music / pictures. What's the easiest that I can do this? Sorry, I've never done this before and in the past I've just used an external HD and copied over the music/pic files but I lost the playlist/albums. It's over 3 years of work to redo, so to speak, and I want to see if there was an easier way to do this.

Apr 25, 2010I recently upgraded from iMac OS 10.4.11 to OS 10.6 and transferred my iTune songs to my new computer--Intel Core 2 Duo. Now, I have 8,870 songs in one big list. I can play them, but I also want to make them into albums. Is there some way to do that instead of adding a new album title in the playlist and then copying songs from the music list those songs that belong in that particular album title?

Jun 4, 2014I just bought two cd's; Tangled Soundtrack and Frozen soundtrack. And then i ripped them into iTunes in Alac format, as i always do.Â
In itunes the two albums are seperated, and shown as two albums as all my other music albums.Â
But on my iPhone, in the ipod app, it misxes the two albums in one, and just calls that one album Tangled.
E.g. :Â
Song 1 Cd 1
Song 1 Cd 2
Song 2 Cd 1
Song 2 Cd 2Â
and so on. Â
Why does it do that? Is there some sorting wrong in Itunes, or is there a setting on the iphone i have missed? I use the newest version of iTunes, but i have iOs 6.1.3 on my iphone. And I'm not updating the iPhone..

The problem is that I tune only sync pictures taking by ipad/iPhone and not the entire libraryÂ
I found some software but they have problem with file names not reading correctly all files from iPad as I have the same file name on different folders.Â

During my last upgrade it hosed and I lost everything and the backup it performed right before the upgrade wasn't good. I just had my first kid and all his pictures were on there, from the first day of the hospital to 5 months. I'm dying slowly right now. If you don't get a follow up post within a couple of days please tell the detectives my wife killed me after I told her what happened.

The quality is very good - I got the hardbound 20-page book with black pages and it looks awesome. My only complaint id that they are currently having problems accepting books with Type 1 post script fonts.Had the book in three days after ordering it right through iPhoto.

Mar 10, 2012My friend recorded a lecture using a microphone attached to his old-model iPod nano. I told him it would be easy to transfer to his computer, a Macbook Air. It was; he attached via USB cable, iTunes detected new voice memos, he said yes please copy the voice memos, and they were copied. Yes! He can now listen to the lecture on his MB Air. But... Now he wants me to listen to the lecture as I drive around with my iPhone 4. I thought this would be easy: attach my iPhone to his Air, open iTunes, and tell iTunes to put the lecture on my iPhone. But... It won't copy! When I try to drag the lecture from the main list in iTunes onto my iPhone in the source list, it always snaps back. There is no error message; it just "won't go". There are no copyright issues; it's a recording he made himself from a college lecture.Â
I thought maybe the issue was that the file was in WAV format. (I don't know if this is always the case, or if that was the format used natively for Voice Memos on his old-model iPod Nano.) I told iTunes to create an AAC version, which it promptly did. But that, too, will not drag-and-drop onto my iPhone. There are zillions of programs to copy from an iPhone or iPod onto a Mac, but how do I go the other way?
