How can I tell that a film has English sub-titles or close captioning before I purchase and download it. My wife is deaf and we need sub-titling of some description but the film descriptions do not appear to tell you before downloading.

I would like to use Automator to auto transfer files from my film folder to a folder on my externel harddrive. sort of an auto backup system. the problem is, the film titles will always be diffrent when they need to be transfered . I just don't get it to work. any ideas? or better solutions?

I'm trying to get rid of an offending "TipsSmart" (no spaces, I hate that) in the title. I can bring up the info window, and I can change the Album name, which does in fact change the name of the relevant directory in the iTunes library. Unfortunately, when I go back to look at my iTunes subscriptions the name of the podcast doesn't change. In fact, the name of the podcast is comprised of text that's not contained in any file in my iTunes library. I can't figure out where it gets the name so I can edit it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedUsing itunes 10.6.1 and burning a playlist to 3 cd's in audio format the finished cd's have no song totles just track #'s. Thought I might have set preferences wrong, checked and seemed right but a second burn turned out the same. Last year I burned 12 cd;s in audio format to fill my auto cd cartridge and all had track names and artist. Is this just another feature or lack of in the newest version of I tunes? They are random songs so I can't even look up the album. The songs are to be used at a retirement party so they need a list of which song goes with a little skit.

When I try to download Lion, the download sign in window appears and is populated with someone else's Apple ID. If I change the ID to mine and use my password I get 2 messages: "We could not complete your request. There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (4)" Click OK and 2nd message: "Unknown Error" iTunes does not exhibit this, and normal sign in to App Store shows correct ID, only the Download Authentication does this. I have been able to update other Apps just fine, this requires a purchase, and is the only difference.

I can change the country to the UK but as I start the registration process iTunes ask for the banking details, at this point it asks If the billing address of your credit card is not in the UK click here once you select Spain as your banking address all the content reverts back to Spanish. View 3 Replies View RelatedI just went through the process of buying an app as a gift to be delivered via email. Typed my personal message to the recipient, confirmed the delivery address. Got the review screen. Then when I clocked to purchase the app, I got a security screen asking me to select 3 security questions and an alternate email address. Got immediate emails from Apple noting the changes to my account. But I never got an email confirming the gift purchase. How do I tell if it went through? The item is not listed in my purchases, but maybe that's by design? Did the security question dialog hijack the purchase process?
(Also checked my credit card website, and it doesn't look like there's a pending charge yet. But I'd hate to purchase this app twice.)
