When I try to download Lion, the download sign in window appears and is populated with someone else's Apple ID. If I change the ID to mine and use my password I get 2 messages:Â "We could not complete your request. There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (4)" Click OK and 2nd message: "Unknown Error"Â Â iTunes does not exhibit this, and normal sign in to App Store shows correct ID, only the Download Authentication does this. I have been able to update other Apps just fine, this requires a purchase, and is the only difference.

The feature that caught my attention is the HDMI out port Apple added. This is the first time an HDMI port, in or out has been on a mac as far as I know. This gives me hope that we just might start to see HDMI ins and outs on some of the upcoming macs.Which brings me to my point, I am patiently waiting for the next iMac update, which I am hoping has an HDMI in. I am a college student and enjoy gaming on my spare time, own an xBox 360, but lack an HDTV. I hope to kill two purchases with one buy, spending my very hard earned cash on a powerful computer (Enough power for Max Settings in the upcoming Diablo 3 and StarCraft 2 PC Games) and an HDTV for my xBox 360.

I am plan to get the most recent versions of these programs when they become available.My question is, do I need to uninstall the previous versions before I install the lastest ones or can I just install the lastest ones immediately without uninstalling the old versions.If I do need to uninstall old versions what happens when I don't do that? I would like to know what happens to the old version after I install the newest version.

Got the review screen. Then when I clocked to purchase the app, I got a security screen asking me to select 3 security questions and an alternate email address. Got immediate emails from Apple noting the changes to my account. But I never got an email confirming the gift purchase. How do I tell if it went through? The item is not listed in my purchases, but maybe that's by design?  Did the security question dialog hijack the purchase process?Â
(Also checked my credit card website, and it doesn't look like there's a pending charge yet. But I'd hate to purchase this app twice.)

Why? Isn't that point of a digital copy? I could just as easily buy a used DVD cheaper and rip it. The film is still for sale in the iTunes store, why could I not get it in the Cloud? Does this also mean I can't download it again if it's deleted?

I'm running iTunes 10.6.1 and Configurator 1.0.1. I just purchased 32 copies of an app for one of our school iPad carts. The last time I did this I made the purchase, ran iTunes, input the first app code, and downloaded the app.
Now when I input the code for a new app, it begins to download 32 copies of the the last app I bought, which was iMovie. I can cancel all of the downloads, but when I go in to add a another new app, it then starts to download 64 apps: 32 copies of iMovie and 32 copies of the app I just installed.Â

Every time I log in, I'm redirected to the login screen that asks for my account name and password. I've reset my password 4x and Apple has done it twice. Still no change. I'm not getting any response that my password is wrong and I'm allowed to fill in my credentials as many times as I want. It's just redirecting me to the login screen and asking me again. If I log out and back in, it tells me after login that I need to press "ok" to verify my account information, after which it redirects me to... the login screen.Â
